WAS THIS THE FIRST?
I WAS THERE BUT I WAS DRUNK SO
>>358710
Someone can explain the context of this sticky?
>>358729
The design was decided by some anons randomly.
Since moot was a catgirl, Hiro is a bunnygirl.
Also, Japanese speak moonspeak, and rabbits are from the moon, so Hiro is a rabbit.
The first image was this one, if I'm not wrong.
>Error: Duplicate file exists. (>>358745)

>>358750
Wait wait wait, Hiro-tan is a little girl right. moot and WT Snacks are girls, so Hiro should too. Why is that thread in /cm/
>>358749
Berserk is a manga series that started on 1989, it's very popular both on Japan and the western world.
At some point the main character and his party got into a boat. That was 7 long years ago.
The author kept playing Idolmaster instead of drawing, so it got scarce updates and people started getting frustrated because they wouldn't leave the fucking boat.
It became an universal joke because no one believed they would ever get out of it.
>When will anime X get a new season?
>After Kizu gets released and Guts gets out of the boat
Then finally, after all these years, after the death of many who died believing this would happen in their lifetime, Guts finally got out of the boat.
Still, no one believes this manga will end before the author dies.

>>358763

Yeah, man.
I don't read Berserk but hell if I'm not happy for them.
Kizumonogatari finally got a release date after 4 years since the first trailer, too.
2015 is a magical year.
Why is a post from 10 days ago on the front page?
>>358991
Maybe Hiro was playing around with admin powers when he was making /news/
>>359035
Honestly if /news/ didn't have that little Rules thread I'd think it was just a test board Hiro made and tried to name "new"
What's with this shitty "kill yourself" /a/ meme going around on /b/? I don't participate in the faces threads (just hope qt grill shows up) but lately it's just this one faggot posting nothing but recolors of some anime character..

>/b/ as a main board
Found the newfaggot.
/v/ is getting its panties in a bunch over DOAX3 not coming to the west and mods have deleted over 6 threads about it so far, one including a card signing thread for play-asia.
There's also a Twitter shitstorm because of it. Pic related.
Mods gave /tv/ another shitposting sticky on /co/.
>>>/co/77702026
>>359127
That's moderately surprising. The US had over 50% of the sales of DOAX2.
/v/ is being moderated by SJWs.
>>359180
It was a conscious decision by the company because of wanting to avoid "political problems" (read: complaints about the women) with the atmosphere of gaming in the West now.
Also, because part of /v/ can't contain themselves anymore, there's now a fast-as-shit thread about it in /qa/ here: >>359132
>>359197
I'd be willing to ignore a few emails and letters for a 100% increase in sales through pre-existing channels. Never been a fan myself though, so I don't really care.
>>359206
I don't care either, but it's funny seeing the fallout from this.
Even though this looks like it might boil over into pressuring Hiro to change the mod landscape of /v/.
I don't even give a shit about /v/ cancer but jesus christ that is some shit moderation
There's equally baitey threads that just happen to take the opposite side on the whole 'sjw vs mra-goobergator' that are prospering on there while any other discussion seems to get immediately deleted
No wonder hordes of people left for 8ch, glad I never go on such cancerous boards

I haven't been there, but I assume generals like that have a high turnover rate. In any case, why do you care?

Sure. Usually when people screencap news articles it's to either get an unchanging version of it or keep them from getting clickviews. So if that's the goal, I'm just saying archive.is is a better version of screencapping.

Reddit does not create original content, they steal it from other sites.
/s4s/ created it just to have fun, but the media doesn't understand 4chan and thinks we're some kind of moralfaggotry hacker group fighting against ISIS.
>>363409
It wasn't just to have fun, somebody started it with a specific political agenda which was to fuck with ISIS. In my opinion [s4s] should never get serious enough to get involved with that kind of thing but I guess enough newfriends are around that they don't know that and contributed to it. They then literally spread it themselves to other websites like reddit to get notoriety. It's a very un-s4s thing to do but I guess the times have changed and I am obsolete.

/r/4chan - hence the media confusion about the "Reddit group 4chan". It really is a subreddit.
They post Super Serious on other subreddits and swoop by 4chan to let the shitposts out and take screenshots of random things for that sweet sweet karma.
>>363552

Notice the board title
Hiro was on /sp/ and /sp/ told them how much they didn't like WWE on their board/ didn't think it belonged on /sp/ so Hiro decided to move all wrestling discussion to /asp/ and make it "Alternate Sport and Wrestling".
The wrestling posters then took advantage of this, with some trying to shitpost hard to try and show they should get their own board or something
Basically they got kicked off /sp/ and are now /asp/'s problem
>>363568
/mlp/ was just pushed off of /co/. And into /x/. A board with a massively larger population pushed part of its large population, more than the destination board, onto a smaller board.

they are on topic, what the hell. If anything delete the OP pic.
>>364290
Mods and janitors don't actually look at what they delete half the time. Just ask /x/.

Don't be niave, those threads are /b/8 to get off topic about any and all shit you want. It's just a jump off point that will inevitably become a random comic thread, a shit on dobson thread, a fur porn thread, or another dump of The Bus, but mostly it's furry porn derailment that always starts with a comic of tails and two kids. I love lol threads, but I will admit they are a cancer to /v/.

/v/ can be as bad as it wants to be but, holy shit I love the /v/ Musical.
The single best thing to ever come out of /v/.
>>364304
They do put a lot of good work and effort into it. It's much more concise and well executed then any board.

Hype! and We Play No Games are probably my favorites of S3.
/tv/ is getting worse every day. When the fuck is it going to be split?
There's already boards for shitposting on this site, why let /tv/ fall apart?
>>364308
Your punishment must be more severe!
>>>/s4s/3936566
WE DID IT REDDIT
>>364310
Shitposting and memes are powerful agents to the uninitiated
but we are initiated, aren't we anon?
>>364162
>/s4s/
>not [s4s]
They still fucked up.
>>359475
Holy shit autism party.
whats happening on >>>/news/259/
is it being raided by tumblr/ghazi/SJW types and /pol/ types simultaneously.
or is it all ironic shitposting.
the linked thread was just to provide and example. theres a lot of similar posting going on in basically every thread
>>364511
>>>/news/259
Quoting right this time.
>>361112
One would assume this to be the case, and it usually is. The KS general, however, is not like that.
The general is comprised largely of people who have been around for a while, sometimes for thousands of threads. It actually has a very low turnover rate.
The Bold and Brash meme is flourishing on /trash/.
>>>/trash/356505
>>364794
Where did it came from?
>>364808
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=stNse8OjWIE
>>364815
I know it came from spongebob. I'm asking why did it became a meme recently?
>>364818
Because the board is /trash/. And it belongs in the trash. What more of a connection is needed?
>>362637
Yeah, this sums it up. I don't think it needs the /mon/ mantle, as that would just lead to flamewars between the various mon franchises (a worse version of genwars on /vp/). But what you said about tons of shitposting on /vp/ and a near absence of moderation there is totally accurate.
Just look at this thread, which was created to discuss /vp/'s moderation problems but which is now being invaded by some of /vp/'s own shitposters: >>364728
/x/ is into goatwalkers again
>>364282
Who except hiro and /pol/ mos did not expect a disaster? They did not even do the bare minimum by banning obvious blogshit sites from all political directions.
>>359475
Man, /x/ is really something else.
>>359475
A good thread, on /x/? Impossible!
I just noticed /trash/ has no in-site archive.
It makes sense now that I think about it.
>>363398
Dutch news, metro.
At least they got the source right
>>365205
>Unfortunately they got the source right
FTFY.
>>365287
I don't even have to look to know reddit made some gay subreddit for it
Also /g/ has been unusually boring lately, and I haven't been home much so I haven't browsed /mu/, my second board, much lately. Anything happening on there?
>>365422
Animal Collective has like 5 threads in the catalog at any given time now due to the new single and February release date for the new album. Also, I personally have just noticed a lot more funposting desu
/a/ had a sticky about Mizuki Shigeru's death.
>>>/a/134151695
This happened on /co/ a couple days ago.
>>365642
What a waste.
>>365645
and bellyrubs!
>>365642
what's wrong with a good belly rub anon?
>>364103
Sound images used to fuck up the board.
As explained in the past.
>>365183
It could really need one if it stays up and people keep bumping images this much.
>>365946
>wanting to preserve trash
>>358706
Well my main board used to be spee but we got moved to asp. Its dead as fuck and depressing there and i as well as about three fifths of our original community have stopped going there now.
I dont really have a main board anymore, this site sucks. Thanks hiro you dumb newfag
>>365960
/wwe/ lad?
The general itself on /sp/ was better desu. Since Seth got injured I largely stopped watching and therefore stopped really going to the threads so I'm not really sure how it is on /asp/, though it did seem quite shit for both /wwe/ and the users of /asp/. I guess the move was the final nail in the coffin for me,
Although that said, wwe isn't a sport imo
The guys are athletes but I wouldn't call it a sport
>>365969
Yeah m8 /wwe/
Its not as fun without flags and the general starts autosaging at 300 now but we arent allowed to make a new one because the other threads are so slow that we have to wait until the general is languishing on thread 8 or something. So you can imagine how dead the place is
One of the things that the aspies say is that /sp/ is for spectating mainstream sports events and /asp/ is for people that actually play/practice the minor sports/martial arts etc and swap tips and all of that, and im actually inclined to agree with them on something for once. Of course its not a sport but we were much more of a fit for spee
Also the aspies are in total meltdown mode, last time i was there i saw more buttgurt anti wrestling/kick wrestling off asp threads than actual asp threads. its fun winding them up but even that has lost its lustre now
>>365978
Don't be harsh on /asp/ desu, I read at one point mandrama had over 80 threads in the catalog. It's expected they're going to be a bit pissed.
No flags seems a bit shit, whenever there was a Canadian or Australian flag I'd pretty much know to just ignore it with the exception of two or three.
I've seen some people suggest /tv/ which could sort of work, since you'd be back to one general and it is a TV show really, but I can't imagine they'd be happy with the gamethreads with how fast they are
Doctor Who General just got this get >>>/tv/63222222 with a picture of the 2nd Doctor.
>>366062
That's a pretty decent get
A fuck ton of Undertale shit in /v/.
IF YOU SEARCH GOOGLE FOR 'SYNDROME'...
