Glad you asked.
Welcome to Super Pony, a CYOA taking place in Maretropolis, a city where the forces of good and evil are at a constant struggle.
You play as Easy Ride, also known as Road Rage, and this is your quest to get back at Boomerang for sending you to prison and subsequently ruining your life.

Well, ficfic, I have to say I'm glad you're taking this all in good humor.
I might suggest if you want to do a more serious quest you try a middle road. ColtQuest is a quest made pretty much exclusively for /ss/ and its easy to see you starting to chafe under that restraint. I would suggest if you want to do something else, I would make it a more middle-road concept. All mechanics or super serious quests are just as bad as pure lewdquests, and if you want to make something fun for us and fun for you, make it something with a clear challenge, an interesting concept, but keep the characterization and sense of fun that CQ has.

Emerald takes one of the blank pages and puts it in his pocket. He wants to find the rest of the journal, and he thinks if he asks the library about it he might find out something.
Emerald then looks at the machine again, and wonders what exactly he does. On closer examination he sees the pedestal on the front of it has a rounded groove, and instantly his mind goes to the orbs on the side of the room.
Emerald walks over and grabs the orb sitting on a holder labeled "A1" and puts it on the pedestal. The cloudy liquid inside the orb seems to drain away slowly, and a second later there is a loud crack next to him, and looking up he sees what appears to be a modest looking wood and hay thatched roof house on a grass covered hill.

She seems really excited about this question. Swirl must have some special story planned.

It would really help if you could remember what the spirit was called, but then again no pony is able to even pronounce those strange names.
You search for cold weather spirit, which gives you one hit.
It's a story of a little buffalo running away from the cold weather spirit. It encounters different creatures that tell him how they get through winter. In the end he reaches his tribe where he is greeted with hot stew and a warm planked.

"Yes of course."
>Sand Swirl:"Wow that's awesome! Is it like ice cream? How does snow taste? Did you ever taste snow? Will we see snow on our journey too? Oh oh, will I get to build a snow pony? How does building a snow pony work?"
That story didn't really help with making her sleepy.
"Ok Swirl, I answer your question, but first you have to promise that after that you'll try to sleep."

You answer her questions while you cover her with a planked.
"Snow feels a little like ice cream, but it's not as sticky and a little lighter. You normally shouldn't try to eat snow, especially not if it's any color but white. Yes we will see snow on our journey once we reach the frozen north there will be a lot of snow. Maybe we will have time to build a snow pony when we are there, and for how it works?"
You kiss her forehead.
"Half the fun is figuring out how it works, of course your daddy will be happy to help you with it."

Swirl immediately shuts her eyes.
