Nofun Europe here, not many people have guns here and most criminals use knifes/baseball bat. Would this actually work as close quarter defense weapons, or is it too autistic?

I'm kind of against using bladed weapons for home defense. It's easier to prove intent to seriously injure or kill someone if you're using a bladed weapon. An expandable baton or bat is better. Plus if you're in Europe you have to by law hide in a closet and hope the attacker doesn't find you or else you can get thrown in jail

It is worth noting that Ren had been shot in the leg though which severely hampered his mobility and the strength he could put behind his strikes.
