Why is South Korea not given sufficient nuclear arsenal to be able to annihilate DPROK threat if they try something funny?
How many nukes of what kind would they need to render arty capabilities of North useless in, say, 10 min.? Would strategic nukes be needed?
Why are these weapons not given to the South?
America is throwing billions at them every year. They like this and don't want it to change.

Why does Worst Korea need nukes to destroy North Korean artillery?
>>29549241
>Why is South Korea not given sufficient nuclear arsenal to be able to annihilate DPROK threat if they try something funny?
Because it's a violation of the NPT. Among other reasons.
>How many nukes of what kind would they need to render arty capabilities of North useless in, say, 10 min.?
This is like asking what kind of hammer is best for brain surgery.
>Would strategic nukes be needed?
No.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Is gunsmithing school / courses a scam?
Can't one just read books and acquire materials and y'know, get going, only seeking advice when necessary? It's not exactly expensive, and there can be a lot of profit in fixing up lazy people's rifles in some back country town, or buying cheap shitty guns and turning them into masterpieces.
I mean there is an end result, a product, it's a CRAFT, so if my guns were to turn out prettier, stronger, and more reliable, would I not be a master?
>>29549232
Woops meant to make the subject "Gunsmithing a scam?"
>>29549232
Yes, it is. Next question.
>>29549430
You have your answer, asshole. Now eat shit and die.
What's a good .177cal airgun for plinking and small game hunting (up to raccoon) between $100 and $120 bucks
>>29549135
Just google it yourself. Anything that can reach 1000fps with those .177 pellets is gonna be fine. It's better to get a break action so you don't have to buy compressed air.
source:
I used to shoot squirrels, birds, rabbits, and rattlesnakes in the woods in Florida with a Winchester .177
>>29549206
My friend is really into air rifles ( and I know nothing about them ) and we stumbled across some today while I was going to pick up a knife I ordered. He mentioned I should never buy one below 1200 FPS if I ever do. He was specifically thinking of hunting when he said it ( I think ) and he hasn't steered me wrong yet so I figure I'd just pass what he said to me to you.
I picked up a Logun S16 something like ten years ago. It's my go to wildlife exterminator. Christ knows how many squirrels and rats i've killed over the years.
It's well built, reliable, accurate, and easy to use. Little on the heavy side, and filling the reservoir by hand can get exhausting after a while, but i'm glad I bought it.
Was there a point of having any forces deployed within 30 km belt next to West-East German border due to Soviet overmatch in number and capability of artillery pieces deployed there?
Slowing them down long enough for artillery and air power, as well as buying time for future mobilization and counter attack.
I can see the justification for having maneuver units patrolling the west German boarder, but I don't know why we had entire infantry divisions stationed there.
>>29549099
They had to be stationed somewhere.
Opinions /k/? The Irish minister for Justice is considering arming all Police with tasers for self defence. They already carry pepperspray and an ASP extendable baton (both illegal for citizens), but since physical aggression towards them is on the rise tasers are being debated.
A poll shows ~65% of people are for the idea, but I don't think it's exactly fair for police to carry tasers since citizens aren't even allowed to carry ANY form of self defence item, including a knife of any kind.
Should our Police force be equipped with this less-than-lethal option?
>>29549061
If citizens can't have it neither should the cops.
All police should carry tasers, bar none.
They should not, however, be banned to the citizenry.
trying to disarm a population is more dangerous than having one that's armed. i mean most criminals are just getting weapons illegally aren't they? all it takes is one smuggled uzi or ak and that taser and docile unarmed society is fucked. what then? we need STRICTER gun laws? it makes no sense. i don't see the rationale for these type of legislation, ireland or not. every time i hear a mass shooting or gun crime it seems silly to be even more vulnerable to the situation.
what ever happened to this guy?
>>29548982
You know exactly or you wouldn't have asked
>>29548982
Did the thing and got verbed to the adjective noun.
>>29548995

Sometimes if I can't sleep I'll put on full combat kit with plate carrier, loaded mags, rifle, and side arm then run, dodge, and maneuver innawoods near my house. Haven't been spotted yet by anyone else.
Sometimes I'll sleep on my couch with my rifle cradled in my arm aimed at my door. Scared the mailman once with that.
If I'm on a lone country road sometimes I'll do combat driving. Weaving, driving serpentine, etc flipped my old Nissan doing it a few times.
I do random head counts of all my ammo just to be sure or when I'm bored.

>when I open a condom wrapper, I use my teeth, and open it the way you would a paper cartridge for a muzzleloader.
>>29548940
>Translation; I've never opened a condom
>>29548962
It's not that hard to open it with your teeth. Seriously go try it and get back to us. I'll wait.
Whats up /k/ just paid 150 for this enfield, I do NOT like this stock what so ever. I really want to change it. And I would also like to install a front sight guard. What does /k/ think??
>>29548772
Looks like the barrel and sights are not fucked with so it should just need a new stock and the front end/sight guards. Good buy I'd say, how's the bore and what year/factory is it?
Pic related, my 1917 BSA SMLE
So what does /k/ think of the M110 SASS being made available to the public? It seems the company is releasing 110 of them for about $22k per rifle; pic related.
>>29548686
Oh, for those who want to know more about the gun and where to buy it...
Read about it @ http://www.snipercentral.com/u-s-army-m110-sass/
Buy it @ http://www.hinterlandoutfitters.com/knights-armament-m110-sass-limited-edition-rifle-package-nato-match-grade-semi-auto-fixed-stock-color-scopepackage-included-limited-suppressor-sold-separately-p-49349.html
>>29548686
Lmao I mean if you really don't have anything more responsible to do with $22k and you really want one go for it.
It's your money.
>>29548709
I personally am not buying it nor would I. I was just wondering what /k/ thinks of it being sold this way.
ITT we discuss why C-Clamp is a meme and why you should hold your rifle from the grip like a normal person
Left: effective american gripping
Right: weak canadian gripping - requires a specially installed grip handle! very weak
>C-Clamp is a meme.
Yeah just look at these faggots
>>29548511
>eeh le spec ops do it so i must do the same too
It's a good defensive load, make sure it chambers reliably in your semi and you should be good to go. What in the fuck happened to the box though?

Ranger SXT but dumb idiots will pay you a premium for it. Sell it on Gunbroker, make $80

Laugh as they crash because none of them know how to pilot one.
If there's like 5 of them with rifles, I don't think you have much choice but to die, hopefully take a couple of them with you.

Is the 300 AAC Blackout a meme?
It took about 60 years for ARfags to discover 7.62x39.
everything is made into a meme, weapons and ammo are just that, weapons and ammo. Autists on here make shit into memes. So as an answer, no. 300BLK has it's place in modern firearms, people like it and people don't. Whatever
>>29548343
Yes, until it's adopted by a major military power and establishes itself as a caliber with permanent staying power. It's just as likely to become another 6.8, .458, .50beo or any other meme bullet and fall out of fashion just as quickly as it appeared.
Is the SKS still relevant in any way?
Wouldn't this rifle be the perfect choice for insurgents due to availability, accuracy and reliability.
>>29548282
Enough with the dumb fucking questions day in and day out
>>29548282
Any gun is more relevant than having no gun. In practical terms it is outclassed by an AK if one has access to an AK.
Insurgencies don't win with rifles anyway though.
>>29548282
>availability
>accuracy
>reliability
None of the above describes the SKS.
