Why is South Korea not given sufficient nuclear arsenal to be able to annihilate DPROK threat if they try something funny?
How many nukes of what kind would they need to render arty capabilities of North useless in, say, 10 min.? Would strategic nukes be needed?

Is gunsmithing school / courses a scam?
Can't one just read books and acquire materials and y'know, get going, only seeking advice when necessary? It's not exactly expensive, and there can be a lot of profit in fixing up lazy people's rifles in some back country town, or buying cheap shitty guns and turning them into masterpieces.
I mean there is an end result, a product, it's a CRAFT, so if my guns were to turn out prettier, stronger, and more reliable, would I not be a master?

Just google it yourself. Anything that can reach 1000fps with those .177 pellets is gonna be fine. It's better to get a break action so you don't have to buy compressed air.

I picked up a Logun S16 something like ten years ago. It's my go to wildlife exterminator. Christ knows how many squirrels and rats i've killed over the years.
It's well built, reliable, accurate, and easy to use. Little on the heavy side, and filling the reservoir by hand can get exhausting after a while, but i'm glad I bought it.
Was there a point of having any forces deployed within 30 km belt next to West-East German border due to Soviet overmatch in number and capability of artillery pieces deployed there?
Slowing them down long enough for artillery and air power, as well as buying time for future mobilization and counter attack.
I can see the justification for having maneuver units patrolling the west German boarder, but I don't know why we had entire infantry divisions stationed there.

Opinions /k/? The Irish minister for Justice is considering arming all Police with tasers for self defence. They already carry pepperspray and an ASP extendable baton (both illegal for citizens), but since physical aggression towards them is on the rise tasers are being debated.
A poll shows ~65% of people are for the idea, but I don't think it's exactly fair for police to carry tasers since citizens aren't even allowed to carry ANY form of self defence item, including a knife of any kind.
Should our Police force be equipped with this less-than-lethal option?

trying to disarm a population is more dangerous than having one that's armed. i mean most criminals are just getting weapons illegally aren't they? all it takes is one smuggled uzi or ak and that taser and docile unarmed society is fucked. what then? we need STRICTER gun laws? it makes no sense. i don't see the rationale for these type of legislation, ireland or not. every time i hear a mass shooting or gun crime it seems silly to be even more vulnerable to the situation.

Sometimes if I can't sleep I'll put on full combat kit with plate carrier, loaded mags, rifle, and side arm then run, dodge, and maneuver innawoods near my house. Haven't been spotted yet by anyone else.
Sometimes I'll sleep on my couch with my rifle cradled in my arm aimed at my door. Scared the mailman once with that.
If I'm on a lone country road sometimes I'll do combat driving. Weaving, driving serpentine, etc flipped my old Nissan doing it a few times.
I do random head counts of all my ammo just to be sure or when I'm bored.
