>On Friday, Christie announced changes he is making to regulations relating to concealed carry. New Jersey’s Democrat-controlled legislature refused to change so the laws, so “Christie and the state Attorney General’s Office instead moved to make changes through the state regulatory process and through their power to issue law-enforcement directives that apply to all local police departments.”

Even if he goes through with it and people in NJ can finally live in a state resembling "shall issue". The permitting process will be backed up like a toilet at a chinese buffet.
Then you have to worry about the Democrats in the state legislature pushing through a veto proof bill that would undo his actions; or the next governor being a Democrat and undoing it.

Don't care. Let me know when the NFA and AWB laws get fucking nuked and Jersey can finally into un-neutered ARs.
>suddenly hordes of heavily tanned and armed guidos begin terrorizing Jew Yorker visitors.
I'm oddly okay with this.
pls, Maryland. be next. I want a real AK, not this VZ58 although it is nice
Transport bombers are the best idea I've ever heard.
They are regular civilian airliners like 737s and 747s with bomb doors added, maybe refueling capabilities and a few flares.
The advantages are numerous. There is a preexisting worldwide supply chain for spare parts and maintenance techs/pilots. The planes are much cheaper (70-150mil each vs 2000mil for a b1).
Their range is truly amazing, much further than a b-52 (they were designed for efficiency and cost effectiveness after all). Even 737s can fly from CA to HI no problem. Modern 787s are even...

747's are too big and expensive, plus, 737's can already do midair refueling.
conclusion: make them all 737's
>no stealth
>no defenses
So... My wifes father is giving me one of his muzzleloaders because he just never uses it.
Problem is... I've never owned or operated a muzzleloader before. its a thompson center impact series .50 muzzleloader, and i was hoping for some advice or videos I can watch to learn about my new weapon before I make myself look like at ass at the range.
Also, because we are going up to New Hampshire to pick it up, coming from Tennessee... We are going to have to drive through NY, and its too frickin expensive to ship it store to store. Any advice on getting through...

Don't go through NY you mong. If they find it you're looking at a lifetime in jail.
All for a muzzle loader you know nothing about.
I've hosted two meet ups so far. However, theyve been small, single day events without a lot of people. I also feel like I've had poor communication with my attendees. Let's have a thread to discuss our experiences hosting /k/ meet ups and get tips and advice for us more inexperienced guys.

How do we make the concept of heavy infantry viable again /k/?
My idea is that we get really big (300+lbs at no more that 25 percent bf) guys (4u) and then cover them in armor and issue heavy weapons.
The armor maybe slightly powered but it doesn't have to be, I'm thinking we wrap then in 100-200 lbs of dragonskin or some other armor that can take a ton of repeat hits before failure, then put some stuff underneath to give blast resistance like an eod suit (disclaimer: I have no idea how an eod Suit works).
Then each guy is issued at least a saw...

why
whats wrong with our current infantry
>>29571424
Heavy infantry cannot be viable again without major energy storage advancements. Like maguffin mechwarrior fusion core shit.
You're about as sharp as a bowling ball.
So, were all USA WWII small arms total shit?
>Thompson is 10 lbs and like 10 times more costly than any other smg
>BAR was like 20 lbs, had really shitty mags, and weren't belt fed
>M1 carbine used an anemic round
(actually these were pretty decent for what they were and light, but they are still a pistol caliber carbine (.30 carbine has the power of a hot .357)
>Garands were inaccurate and easy to malfunction due to the action
(still...

I see this is a thinly veiled political thread.

I don't understand why anyone used the BAR, or why it was so popular with gangsters.
Alright guys, Defensive handgun sights, FO? Tritium? 3 dot? undotted rear? I have been looking a lot and the ones I am leaning towards are the XS sights.
>>29571249
Tritium, if you don't like cock in your ass.
Ameriglo Operator
3 dot Tritium, White outline on the front sight, different colored rear.
>>29571249
I have XS sighs on my EDC Glock 26 and I fucking love them. I am also a fan of various 2-dot setups, as well as Trijicon HD's and 10-8 rears with a nice bright front.
What does /k/ of the AR-7?
It's a smart concept, a 35 inch survival rifle that collapses to half that. It's surprisingly accurate for peep sights and its able to hold 16 rounds of .22 LR (in 2 mags) It's use in the military has partially diminished but as a last resort squirrel sniper, it's not a bad concept.
>>29571190
It's alright, does what it's supposed to.
>inb4 some faggot who had a Charter Arms one comes in to say "had one and it was a jam-a-mattic so I sold it"
>>29571190
Ruger takedown is way better.
It feels cheap to me. The stock is unwieldy account of the fact that it has to be large to accommodate the parts. It's good at what it does, but I'd rather go with a Chiappa Little Badger/Double Badger as a survival rifle.
what's wrong with this picture?
>>29571013
Nothing, it's a way to fuck over the nanny state anit-gun types because it allows freedom.
>>29571013
It makes me erect
>>29571013

Further, I'd take an Ares SCR over a Ruger mini-14/mini-30 any day of the week.
So /k is it bad that i really like guns but dont really know much about them? Like i got entry level knowledge but other than that im up the ganges without a paddle.
>>29570914
everyone starts somewhere. just research and shoot more
That's fine. Just educate yourself and don't be retarded.
See if your local gun store or range has a class. I went to a four hour class at my local store and learned a shit ton.
>>29570926
i dont have enough money to shoot though
Hello /k/ in my local area I found a p1 for sale, should I go for it? They want $400 for it

I would, op
>>29570913
What the fuck are you on about?
>>29570879
But but then again... I traded my P1 for an M44. I also traded my SLR-95 for a Wasr.
What does /k/ think of weaponized crop dusters as cheap Light Attack/ISR Aircraft?
https://theintercept.com/2016/04/11/blackwater-founder-erik-prince-drive-to-build-private-air-force/
Put gasoline in a cropduster
Fly plane over dry forest
Casually flick your cigaret down(even tough im not a smoker)
Watch the world burn
Like that Swedish guy who used to blast African militia bad boys with his tiny plane and some improvised rocket launchers?

They are extremely ugly, therefore are not a viable weapon.
Hello!
I'm sure many people before me have made this same invention. But I thought it would be a cool thing to share with you!
I lost the compensator for my target 10/22. I was ordering a new one and I looked at the concept and a empty coca cola bottle and thought fuck it. This is a place for some inventing,
Last week I went to a machine shop whit some dimensions and request and this is what I came up with!
An Endcap/Silencer! Screwn on bacwards it protects the barrel and threads, turn it around and attach an empty bottle and vola: You have a...

Why is the Marine Corps the meme-iest branch? It's like they understood the value of symbols and traditions and this image of being a tough, hardened killer and used it in their recruitment, despite their apparent hardships compared to the other branches. Was this intentional or did it come naturally?

They're the slightly retarded red-headed step child that wasn't given quite enough attention so they're bitter, and the chain of command passes down this bitterness to the new guys so its a perpetual cycle of butthurt.
And now they're getting attention because the US government let them take some islands from rice farmers and need to prove something because they'll never quite equal the armies achievements, everyone says they're great but they know they're inadequate.
>>29572125
/thread
they spend the most on marketing. To build up an image what a marine and the marine corp are.
