Are any of us here actually prepared for a SHTF situation? I'm talking about something beyond just having a bugout bag or a few thousand rounds of ammo. Do any of us actually have real plans for attempting to rebuild society? Because I have a feeling most of us don't, and that means most of us would resort to becoming petty raiders in a matter of weeks, given our superior firepower.

Guys, I'm at an end. I've had a rough month and a half financially and it doesn't look like it's getting better any time soon. Now to top it off I have 2 weeks to pay my license renewal fee (Australian) or ill lose all of my guns. This isn't right and I feel saddened beyond belief. One of them is a mauser my father gave me. So I live in a UBGC state and the new shit format of Armslist has completely killed any hope of selling anything on their platform. I can't even get people to meet me at a gunshop if a pay for the BGC. There are just no users on there anymore, and I can't blame them. I don't surf armslist either, its too frustrating. Does K have any reccomendations on a good plinking rifle? Is there any reason to get a lever action over a bolt or semi auto? Is there a hilarious .22 conversion for a fuckhuge rifle I can buy? I already have a hunting rifle and pistol. I'm just looking for something to shoot for cheap or to introduce idiots to guns.

Not specifically a .22. But it's a rifle I want to get some of my friend's kids into shooting with. Alongside fun and gun use on private land. I might just find some well priced good AR parts and build one but I don't really want an AR. Everyone in Texas has one. I may look into getting a TOZ.
