Could a shotgun firing explosively formed penetrators work?
Against armor?
Weapons idea thread
>>29581182
Pressures are way to high for an EFP to work in a shotgun.
The pressure needed would destroy the weapon.
>>29581187
This. Shotgun barrels cut and break like fucking butter. It's why you can cut through them with hacksaws in less than sixty seconds and why you can safely fire 12 gauge out of 3/4ths inch steel pipe. You'd really have to up the density and material quality the shotgun barrel, think the 590A1.

EFP or EFP rounds?
Haven't seen any Nuclear threads in a while with him posting. Does he still come on here?
>>29581083
He got doxxed a while back, I don't think he trips here anymore
He was doxed.
He is 14-15, and lives in a poor ghetto area, in an apartment. Very broke.
Daily reminder that Nuclear fucks cats
>>29581308
He still trips, just not as much
>>29581493
No, he was found out to be legit, which is far worse for him.
He actually had to approch his boss about it.
What gun is this? Please, thank you.

damn Norinco ban. I would kill for one as a semi auto pistol caliber carbine. I would even SBR it to be correct barrel length.

its pretty shitty
the only reason it got so popular was because of shillls
Nice gun, AUG is better tho
>tfw want this
What's wrong with me? I mean how practical/reliable is this?
They are very practical and reliable. As electronic optics for pistols continue to improve, it is only natural that you will see more of them.
Why would it be odd to want that?
>>29580923
I don't know just that having electronics/tritium on something that is supposed to contain a small explosion seems like it won't be durable. What's the warranty like on Trijicon RMRs?
>>29580940
Five year limited but they typically fix shit well outside of warranty, and for things like tritium lamp replacement they charge a reasonable price.
The fiber optic ones will never need to be serviced unless you break the window other than if you want or need to replace the tritium 15 years from now, and they will always perform fine in good ambient light.
I have gotten over 2 years of battery life on a single battery from my rmr 02 (generally considered the best option for carry)
Old picture.

It'll take a long time and some serious work.
But the Sun is a relatively delicate balance of inward pressure due to gravity and outward pressure from the fusion occurring.
It is only capable of fusing up to carbon. Once this happens the energy cost exceeds the energy released. The Sun will then she'd it's outer layers, and effectively die.
Considering bullets are lead and copper. We can in theory kill the Sun.

I gotta agree, for the most part. Most milsurp guns are NEAT but flat out inferior, milsurp generals are nearly as cancerous as the ARG.
Some milsurp is alright. SKS are good guns, makarovs are good guns, Garands are good guns.
But it's important to realize that they're relics of the past.

You're sitting in front of the television, wasting your life away.
Suddenly your show was interrupted, telling news of a nuclear warhead approaching the country in ten minutes.
Your city was listed as a target, and all other surrounding cities.
How can you survive the nuclear attack?

I've decided to get a decent handgun but I'm not certain what is good and what is not. I've always liked the beretta design and the 90 two looks like a good handgun that's in my price range.
Is buying second hand an option? What should I be looking out for if I buy second hand.
I can only get 1 as my country is strict like that. So I'm looking for a quality handgun that's not too expensive.
I live in South Africa if that matters.
Thank you in advance.
I'm also left handed and I've read that beretta's cater to left handed people.

You could buy an Italian Beretta 92 police surplus. They're pretty cheap, at least here in the states.
Should we take this seriously?
http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/12/politics/north-korea-mobile-ballistic-missile-launch/index.html
it might still be posturing, but apparently this has gotten the Pentagon spooked.
Take it seriously or not, doesn't really matter. The moment China takes it seriously, North Korea gets curbstomped.
This sort of thing happens every month or so. Nothing ever comes of it.
>>29580564
but apparently this is "unprecedented"
what does that mean exactly I wonder, what makes it different this time?
You must invade and Conquer China, every city, every province of China must be under must be under American control to win.
The Entirety of the US Military and all its affiliated branches are at your disposal.
No Nukes.
How would you do it Anon? Is such a war even feasable logistically?

So /k/, how much should one pay for plate carrier and the plates?
>>29580451
Tree fiddy
Idk, how much does a garbage bag and some garbage can lids cost by you?
$155+s/h
http://www.bodyarmormegastore.com/Condor-Sentry-Plate-Carrier-2-AR500-Armor-Black-p/cdr-sentryblk2.htm
Buying anything more expensive is a tremendous waste of money. Don't listen to the richfags and anons who save up for gear by living in their mom's basement.
All plate carriers carry plates. The only difference is cost.
Steel armor is the most battle tested (been around since before guns even existed) and will last forever no matter how many times you're shot.
You only really need one plate since you aren't going to be retreating...

Ukraine is a country, not a military unit. You have no proofs Russia has a military.

there is no russian military in ukraine, remember.
We tried to prove it once but we got stuck because we couldn't find number plates for the tanks
