Do snipers take the coriolis effect into consideration?
>>29771913
Depends on the range.
>>29771913
No. There are long-distance competitive shooters who say they only judge wind at 75 yards and go with that. Forget the coriolis effect.
wind variations over the range required for it to matter make a bigger difference than you can adjust for

Any tips from vets?

when you get to marksmanship phase, tell your DS you dont need any training, as you're an firearms expert already

Volunteer for everything and go out of your way to show the DI/DS/whatever that you're the best damn recruit there.
Alright fellas, I'm looking for input from the optics aficionados here. I've been on the lookout for a 3-9x with non-capped turrets. I'd feel comfortable spending between $300-$500 bucks. Any recommendations?
I'm only looking for variable's between the 2x-10x range, since I've been told that the higher you go with variable magnification, the worse/fragile/lower quality it might be, since a $300 scope that goes up to 14x might not be the nicest thing to put on a .308 slinger. Looking for input on this as well.
I've been looking around, checking what reviews I can find, but so far i've only found a few Nikons, a Vortex I think, and some Blackhawk scope.
Vortex PST 2.5-10x44 for about 600 is your best bet despite being slightly beyond your price range.
>>29771908
forgot to mention
Give Sightron scopes a look. They are sort of the "Vortex before Vortex was Vortex" as in, """""""American"""""" company that rebrands asian glass, but has good QC contracts, good features, and excellent warranty. It even used to be a cross counter warranty, not sure if it still is. One of my coworkers has one that he loves, and this is the kind of guy who buys Trijicon, Aimpoint, swaro, etc. along with everything...

Yikes damn, yeah even 500 is pushing it for me, since I am also picking up a stock and sending my rifle in for some work. Thanks for the rec though.

Ill check em out for sure. Thanks.
What does /k/ think of the Progressive Knife?

I'd prefer a conservative one.

If we have a ground invasion against ISIS in Iraq and Syria, what kind of equipment would be used? Will it be the same shit that we use now, or is there new weapons that are yet to be announced? When will the next rifle come out for military?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Tfw the kebabs on shows like Homeland are super smart and organized and real life is fucking Abu Hajaar
>>29771364
>>29771383
Alright, I know this isn't k related, but realistically, how long would it take to wipe ISIS out? I mean, obviously that video shows that they aren't a effective conventional fighting force, would they do any better as insurgents though?
Hey /k/, I am planning to do a AR-15 in slav script and was wondering if anyone knows how to type "SAFE" "SEMI" AND "AUTO" in cyrillic.
Use жиpный for safe and пидopac for fire. Why bother with auto if it's not select fire anyway.
>>29771327
Yeah I second that.
>>29771327
Thanks
>ITT, the worst brands for /k/ stuff but also their one redeeming quality.
Cold Steel is the worst of the big knife brands
They are the cringiest company by far, everything about them, from their products to their marketing to their fanbase is pure ponytail-and-fedora tactical euphoria. Plus their shit is overpriced considering materials used and simplistic design/construction. I base this mainly on their pocket knives because that's what I know best, but I would assume it applies to everything else too.
BUT I appreciate...

Kelly Tec and Taurus. Their products are generally shit quality, but they seem to be the only gun manufacturers brave enough to actually try to innovate instead of just churning out the same safe, boring designs forever and ever.
>>29771118
Yeah you're wrong though. They have plenty of meme katanas and marketing, but materials for the price and their durability is pretty unmatched. Benchmade and spyderco? Now that shit is overpriced

Any recommendations on goggles, preferably actual military or in their style, that can be worn over eyeglasses easily? Don't care about cost but the cheaper the better, as long as it does its job properly should an incident occur.
>>29771078
ESS Landops, with the adapter.
pic kinda related, the guy on the right has glasses-adapter on his slim eyepro, on which the ESS style goggles would go nicely.
Are Russian goggles cool? The 6b34 and the newer 6b50 have 6mm thick visor which is kind of interesting
>>29771078
>worn over eyeglasses easily
none.
ive had tons of jobs than i needed goggles, some gave us military stuff, some some specialized goggles, and ive bought some myself, all claiming to fit over RX glasses, not aa single one does.
I want to know if there are people on /k/ who produce youtube videos?

I don't own guns myself, nor do I plan on owning any, but my son's pretty into it.
What MA-friendly, reasonably-priced guns would /k/ recommend? Also, what are the trials and tribulations of acquiring a gun license so I can go to the range with him and so he can get one too?
pic related, the gun he wants, a glock .22 caliber
MA bro here, getting the pistol license is the first trial. Oh and believe me, it ain't easy. May Issue faggotry and such. Then, you need a high capacity permit because "Muh AWB". And there is a really nice range out in Sharon, down on Belcher street. Also Braintree and Wrentham if you can't handle the Jews. The one in braintree has a Pistol and Rifle club too. What part of Mass?
Arlington.

Blood for the blood God. Skulls for the skull throne.
It's stated in Berserk fhat no man could wield the Dragonslayer bc of it's weight. I have a theory that if the Dragonslayer was made of a lighter metal, it could be wielded irl.
Agree/disagree?
>>29770550
Uhhhhhhhhhh, yeah?
If it's lighter some people would wield it?
????
I don't know, if it was made of a different metal it wouldn't be Dragonslayer.
Wait, why am I even talking about...fuck it.
No. Nobody could wield it.
>>29770550
The real question is, could the loli wield Guts's dick?
hey /k/ sometime in the future I plan to make a sweet mosin pistol that can send anyone on an express trip to hell on the 7.62 express what's your thoughts should I make one?
I doubt you'll be able to saw it as smoothly.
Also, I'm not a huge fan of the pistol grip.
But hey- it's your mosin.

yes

i see no reason not to make a mosin pistola
Who did MSF piss off so much? Are they just helping the wrong people?
They're in literally the worst places in the world
The fuck do you think
they are a buncha dirty anti-white commies

Probably taking money from terrorists to care for them.

Yeah, they help the melanin enriched who are content to burn down a hospital and steal ebola blood soaked sheets.
