They're paying 50bn for 12 boats when French documents state that ten billion pays for 6 boats. My assumption is that's because the Aussies are planning to build the boats themselves.
Its funny, you either pay a premium and get blamed for overspending in order to improve your defense industry, or pay less and get called out for not supporting local jobs.

Where do you place your pouches on your PC.
I have a question about position of a radio pouch. I have three single mag pouches on the front of my PC with two double mag pouches either side of that. My IFAK is on my left side with an Admin panel on my chest. I don't know where to place my radio pouch though, should I bump my right double mag pouch back and slip my radio there?

I have been shooting firearms at least once a week for the bast 2 months with ear muffs and I have this weird sound that won't go away in my ears.
It's a volumetric humming seashell sound accompanied by a high pitch 'fluid' sound.
What is going on?

I'm a student at Iowa State we are placed in the little town of Ames.
Our town rarely has crime, so it was a shock to everyone when last Thursday, 5 black males robbed an apartment of a college student. The report said one man had a rifle, and they stole cellphones and cash.
They never found the guys, and this was severely disappointing. These monkeys had successfully committed a crime. YET they told everybody we had nothing to worry about and it was an ISOLATED incident.
I had notified the school that this would not be the case, I have some good experience...

Hello, /k/. I just turned 21 which means I'm legally allowed to purchase a handgun in the state of Arizona. I was gifted a 1911 at 18 and have kept it around for home defense since, and have only had to use once. I live in a relatively safe area so I'm only looking for something that would need to be used as a one-off. The 1911 is okay, but it just doesn't carry the sheer power that I want to feel when I discharge it.
I won't pretend to know fuckall about guns, so I come to you, a haven of sociopaths and enthusiasts, to ask what you would recommend me....

well, the problem is, if you go high caliber and heavy stopping power, comfort becomes a big issue.
also, with those large caliber wheelguns (44mag, 500mag, etc) things get real pricy real fast.
so how much are you willing to spend and how much are you willing to sacrifice comfort for firepower or vice versa?
