hey /k/ sometime in the future I plan to make a sweet mosin pistol that can send anyone on an express trip to hell on the 7.62 express what's your thoughts should I make one?
I doubt you'll be able to saw it as smoothly.
Also, I'm not a huge fan of the pistol grip.

It's not worth it. Vast majority of the powder combusts outside the barrel. You get a huge ass fireball and noise that way, but the shot itself is going to be very slow.
If you still wanted one though, I would reccomend adjusting (reducing) the loads so you don't have excessive powder- either way you'll end up with a slow, heavy bullet with little accuracy and range.

An Obrez is supposed to be a curio of Russian history that serves no other purpose than to bring joy to it's owner via huge fireballs and concussive blast. It also shoots stuff, which is cool I guess.
Practicality is not a consideration.
