Seen all the helmet cam footage/combat footage of I could of US troops fucking people up. Let's see some from other countries. Bonus points if you can actually see the person getting dropped (unlike most vids) and double bonus points if it's from a spec ops group (Spetsnaz, GSG9)
Bumping for interest...had a vid of a chechen rebel getting dropped by a russian solider but lost it.

Saw a guy post images of action from my unit. Don't know if he was in my unit or just saved it from a previous thread.
I asked but thread 404'd. It was a vid of a mosque getting blown up and a piece of shrapnel flew damn near half a mile and narrowly missed a guy by a few feet.
So, I saw earlier today a thread where some guy was panicking (slightly) about hearing a double Skyking message, and upon more research, have become curious.
Would the following video (as an example) be accurate in regard to how these messages are formatted and sent?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EULD1HRtIPw&ab_channel=MillionFoul
In other words: Tinfoil HAM bunker thread?
>>30003069
It was a single Skyking.
A double would be:
SKYKING, SKYKING DO NOT ANSWER
SKYKING, SKYKING DO NOT ANSWER
and then the rest of the code. At least that's how I understand it.
Skyking and the rest of the HFGCS is probably outdated / a backup system nowadays anyway. They're not sending go/no go codes over something that can be listened to by some jerkoff with a HAM radio in his garage.
>>30003317
To be fair, I believe the codes are nonsense turned into more nonsense. I think the command acts as a key for decoding what they have on board the aircraft or something like that.
>>30003317
One time cipher codes meant for singular entities. Good luck figuring stuff out that only exist in 2 copies.
I just got 200 rounds of APIT .50 bmg. Can't wait to see what it will do to a 2inch thick plate. Anyone played with incendiary ammo before?
It's all 2011 Lake City brass

You the anon who bought the Barrett for your bday?
Tell me about suicide bombers /k/
Who are they and what do they want?
>>30002959
It doesn't matter who they are. What matters is their plan.
Kinda depends on the organization.
A Tamil Tiger and an IS guy aren't going to agree on a hell of a lot.
>>30002980
Imagine two suicide bombers from different faction accidentally show up to the same event.
How do they decide who gets to bomb it?
Would medieval design have any place in modern military?
>>30002902
no.
No. Someone still has to carry all that shit and it doesn't actually do anything.
that's why they're called medieval dummy
Anyone got a cap of that dude who said he used his 20mm upper for his m107 for home defense?

MNfags, what have you been doing /k/-wise with the top notch weather this week?
>to the Rochesterfag with the HBAR, 1903, Arisakas and Mausers: I know you must browse here. Thanks for showing us your 1903 today, you were cool.
>>30002838
what flgs do you recommend down that away?
> jack shit i've been working
>>30002879
I buy online for almost everything, but if you want the flgs experience I'd suggest Wild Goose Sports on Broadway. Coyote Creek is pretty crap, and oh hey that's the only two non-bigbox stores in town!
>>30002941
Oh, and there's some pretty decent FFLs for transfer, I think we can get them done for $15/each near Kasson. Not quite as awesome as the LE/mil $5/per transfers up in the Cities but still decent.
In Vietnam some missions were more important than others.

Why do we have such a stick up our ass now?
>>30002758
I imagine people goofing off with millions of dollars of equipment led to stuff getting broken which in turn led to inquires as to how it was all broken in the first place. And here we are today.
Hey /k/
I'm currently in the process of planning a big trip
I would like to have a handgun on me to protect myself from potential dangers (biker gangs, wildlife, etc.)
I'm from California and want to know how I should go about acquiring a CCW for Nevada and would a 1911 be a good choice for a defense weapon?

My brother is going off for memorial day weekend with his wife and son. Im going to be house sitting from Friday to Sunday(maybe even to Monday). He is a no guns, his wife will only let him buy a pistol and he hasnt gotten around to it yet. Should i take my pistol with me going over there; he lives down the road from dindu territory in a suburb.
>>30002469
uhhh, yea?
>>30002469
You haven't given a single reason why not. Although that probably means you're an autistic fuck that nobody should trust around guns.
>>30002497
>>30002523
his wife is very anti gun, and wont let my brother own a shotgun because its to big and she doesn't want one in her house. There son is a little over a month old, and my mom thinks if i upset them my brothers wife will punish us by not letting us see the kid.
post pics, stories that you may have read about and books/movies aswell.

Sorry for being a new fag but are bolt action rifles still popular among the gun community
>>30002346
Yes. I personally own two for precision shooting, as a semi-auto rifle of the same cost would be far less accurate.
Nope. Once the semi auto became widespread in the 60s, the bolt action market dried up completely. That is why you'll see ww2 milsurp recommended on here so much, as very few new bolt actions have been produced in the last half century.
>>30002377
Do you have any recommendations for a new gun owner? I frequently use shotguns but yhey arent my prefrence for hunting

I shipped 218lbs of surplus Yugo 7.62 ammo through the post office

It was a good deal because I was shipping it from east coast to west coast.
I'm watching this movie and my opinion is that is forced "grim-dark".
I'm on half the movie but I feel that it probably wont end good for protags.
I stopped watching because it feels too grim but I wonder ...
Hollywood movie bullshit aside, does USA has such huge problem with corruption and gangs .
I'm from EU, and we have crime but it is really well hidden, there is just no "dangerous areas" or projects or whatever, bad people here wear ties , couldn't beat 5 y/o, sit in comfy leather chairs, live well , have a nice job in...

There are dozens of European cities I wouldn't feel safe walking in. You clearly have just never left a very safe area at all. The US and Europe both have such places.
In the US it's limited mostly to small sections of major cities, same as Europe.
