I've recently taken steps to join Peshmerga in the fight against isis, are there any vets or weapons experts on here that could help me out with my training? I've never served or shot a gun before. Just looking to learn the basics before I head over.

I'm looking to buy a new IWB holster, and I've heard good things about Alien Gear. MTAC and Crossbreed used to be the top of the crop last time I looked, but Alien gear looks unbeatable in price (though that's also possibly a worry).

It always soothes me when I feel the need to start organizing things.
I'm looking at picking up a full cartridge battle rifle in the near future. I'm looking at the nork m305 and svt-40.
I would love to hear from people who have owned/used one or both.
Will mostly be used at the range. Concerns are availability of ammo, ease of maintinence, reliability, accuracy, and usability/ergonomics.
And yes, I live in Cucknadia and only have my PAL.

I've been debating this same question. I'd go for the m305b because there is an established market for parts here and it's a newer design so it can feed reliably from magazines other than the one it left the factory with.

I must say you're wrong though; the AUG is absolute shit.
I have an Endura 4 I bought a few days ago and I can't flick it open, I have to like manually open the knife. There is a lot of resistance especially for the first 50% of the open. I loosened the pivot screw but it didn't do anything.
Anyone know what i can do to loosen it up so I can flick it? I know I need to break it in but there is still a lot of resistance.

I got rid of my endura. Had it less than a month, was thoroughly disappointed.

What is /k/'s opinion on kinetic bombardment? Weaponizing space is illegal for sure, but kinetic weaponary happens to find a loophole in this law. Although it is estimated to be extremely inaccurate, do you think the introduction of kinetic bombardment in warfare would be more devestating than nuclear weapons? Why or why not? I'd love to hear /k/'s thoughts on this...

Fellas, I'm an 11b deploying to Afghanistan in about a week. I've got all my things squared away and have a good idea of what I'll need from other guys who have been, but I've never been deployed before and I've never been shot at. The prospect of it doesn't bother me, but I'm not sure how I'll react under fire. I fee like I'll be fine, it even excites me a little bit, but perception is often different than reality. Any other vets on /k/ that have any insight or tips to mentally prepare?
