are salt rifles good for home defense?
>>30096519
sure why not
yes cuz they kill aand could died

Is the longbow a meme weapon?
>>30096317
Today it is.
Someone post that story about King Henry and his bowman that had bows with 125 pound draw weights that physically deformed the mens arms from how alpha they were
It's vastly overrated, especially by people who don't understand battles like Agincourt. The terrain made more of a difference than the fact they were using longbows instead of crossbows.
I like 40 S&W. It's a slight increase in power for a slight increase in kick which is plenty manageable. It's my open carry go-to round.
I believe that the reliability/accuracy of the AK and its variants shouldn't be decided based on today's shitty manufacturers, just like the 1911 or AR-15/M4 clones, the quality of the firearm lies in the hands of the manufacturer.

I think /pol/ is murdering this board, and anybody who in ironically uses /pol/ speak should be banned.
I think "meme" should be word filtered to "(this anon likes it up the ass)"
I think intentional shit posting is killing board quality
"roll for dubs" or "trips" and other /b/ posting should be banned.
I think Battle buddy and anime threads are board rule violations.

This is an unpopular opinion now???
>unpopular opinion
I like combat rifles to be simple without doo dads and gadgets to weigh it down. Im usually very judgemental when I see someone post a mall ninja'd AR whether its got quality stuff on it or not, i get the impression that more likely than not the person doesnt know basic rifleman fundamentals and is the type who will be impressed by hitting a 100 yd target. Im sorry for being so judgemental :'(
How could the allies even compete?
>>30096085
>Nazis had all of their technology copied
No shit, Nazis also copied shit from other countries. There's even an STG-44 with a copy of the Infrared scope used on the M3 in your picture.
Also,
>World's first helicopter that went into mass production.
Fucking lies. Only 24 were made. That's like saying the Mars Pistol was in mass production.
>>30096170
Lol shut up jew

So /k/, can anyone give me any good left handed revolvers or left handed techniques for right handed revolvers?
Or is being left handed just a big enough disadvantage that I should just get a regular pistol instead?
I rock 45acp mainhand and 9mm offhand
The only thing being left handed will interfere with in a revolver is reloading in one second.
They're ambidextrous apart from the cylinder latch.
The penalties are pretty serious so I advise you to pick up the ambidexterity and two weapon fighting feats (hopefully u rolled ranger or fighter)
Post your Infographs, I'm trying to get a bigger collection, Maybe lesser known ones would help us all out, thanks freedom of information for making this legal!

No doubles BTW just checked dubs
,
Aside from parallax error, how weird would shifting your view angle "just six degrees down" feel when aiming with both eyes?
Also, does it sit right coupled with non-square RDS (like the time proven Aimpoints)?
Nobody on /k/ has one of these.
it

picrelated solved the same problem and it is better
>>30096001
>and it is better
you've personally handled both?
This looks fun as shit to own, even though it is century. General expeiriences with machine pistols thread?
>>30095729
Are you in the us? Because you ain't getting a machine pistol you're getting an AK pistol
>>30095729
Not a machine pistol but dracos are great. Reliable and more accurate than you'd think.
>>30095743
I thought that was the blanket term for them but I was wrong.
UHHHH
>>30095678
What the fuck did you do
>>30095678
new recoil spring and a recoil buffer.

bought a c39v2
How can we revive the use of the 16 gauge in the United States?
stick it up your ass and pull the trigger until it goes click
Mass produce 16 gauge cartridges, start producing 16 gauge shotguns in regularity.
Create a demand.
Problem is, its a cartridge that either 12 or 20 gauge doesn't do.
Need less recoil because you competition shoot? 20 gauge (or more likely 28 if you're an Olympian). NJeed more shot? 12 gauge.
>>30095622
Why? 16 gauge is shit.
literally no benefit over a 12 or 20.
shit, good loading for the 12 gauge made 10 gauge obsolete.
ok /k/ i am looking at a reasonable "precision" rifle. i am looking at either the Remington 700 or the savage 10. i can get them both for the same price so that doesnt matter. which one is better overall with accuracy?
>>30095488
Tikka T3

get a Tikka instead.

I have a savage 10fcp-sr
With boxed ammo Federal 168 sierra matchking the first 5 shot at 500y was 3 1/4 inch group with only 10 rounds through the gun total.
Ive been quite happy with it, only had it for a couple weeks. Working up handloads for it now with 185 grain Berger, lapua brass and varget.
I have one issue with the gun from factory, and that is the magazines fucking suck. the original fcp-sr had acis style mags, new one has proprietary and they push up rounds unevenly. So youll try to chamber...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
I like the Ruger aesthetics and the fact that everyone says they are more reliable than Stoners system.
>>30095412
yeah cool story tell me about rifle in your picture instead.
>>30095412
Do you know what pisses me off? Guys who have beards and wear camo everywhere but get winded climbing stairs and don't even change their own oil.
>>30095412
Your grandpa looks like a right cunt m8
Just got back from buying a Ruger American, feels so damn good. It's my first gun. I live in CA, been stressing lately about the increasing gun restrictions, and I knew I had to make a purchase sooner rather than later. I can't wait to take it to the range. pic related, chambered .22lr, ran me about $350. How did I do /k/?
>10/22s and model 60's are way cheaper
Why tho
Pretty alright OP. Price isn't the best, but we can chalk that up to CA. Start planning for your next purchase. Maybe a pistol. Get mags and ammo as well.

Bolt guns are fun
What kind of AR optics do you guys rock? I use Vortex's Strike Eage 3Gun scope
Pic Related
>>30094871
i love my 24C.
what do you think of the Strike Eagle? i'm interested in turning my 18" build into more of a 3gun rifle, and that would go a long way.
>>30094894
I liked it. The one to six power scope gave you nice options for shooting at different distance. Had fast target acquisition, and my eye picked the reticle right up. Plus the light options made it easier to find. You also can't beats Vortex's warranty
This or a trs25, the trs is on it right now
Why was Rhodesia so great /k/?
Somewhere out there in the vast poverty of Africa...
Somewhere far away in space and time..
Staring upwards at the gleaming stars in the obsidian sky
We're marooned on a small island,
In an endless sea,
Confined to a tiny spit of sand,
Unable to escape
But tonight, on this small county.
In Rhodesia, we're going to rock civilization.
Because white people want to feel like gods because they built a substandard modern nation in the middle of a bunch of natives that weren't even out of the stone age.
It was the variance between them and the natives that made their meager efforts look like astronomical achievements when really it was quite mundane.
>>30080015
They made something out of nothing them defended it and won. But they where defeated by the world's need for gilded political correctness.
It happened in Rhodesia it can happen anywhere.....
