Should I jump on this deal? I am able to do the work to convert it properly.

To answer your question, while that is a good price for an unconverted saiga, you can get a decent AK with proper furnature for the same price.

a Saiga is a decent AK though. Plus, it's the closest you'll ever get to a genuine AK-103 once you convert it, seeing as how it's a "genuine" Kalashnikov.
