annoyingly, my scope is a mildot with MOA adjustments, but i also don't know if its actually a proper mildot, because the dots certainly dont look one mil apart.

see that long thin slot on the top middle of gun? thats the charging handle and right behind it is what you're calling the main spring. so essentially they keep it shorter by putting the main spring on top of the BCG instead of behind it.

Why are so many gun owners so cringey /k/? I'm not talking about your average gun owner who enjoys shooting targets and hunting with shotguns and rifles or the person who collects antique firearms. I'm talking about you Buba's with ARs that have attachments they will never need or use, that open carry and always believe they know the most about guns. You can usually find these people working at gun stores in the city. Now I don't mean to make it sound like all gun owners are like this but why do there have to be so many of these people? Robust, accurate, reliable; simple, kicks like a bastard in .44. It is what it is, which is a strong, no frills wheelgun. I had a .44 Super Redhawk, and hardly ever shot it. It wasn't pleasant, but it could take .44 Mag +P+ flat nose hard cast lead rounds, which would punch through 18" of tree trunk and keep on going.
In .357, it'd be fun, and more manageable, esp with .38 SPL. In .44, it's just a miserable, abusive cunt that's bank breaking to shoot. If you reload, work up half loads...
