I want an MP5 that doesn't look retarded that I can take across state lines without having to write a letter to the ATF (I live in portland, and one of the better ranges in the area is in Vancouver). Based off of my research, the best solution would be a 16.5in barrel with an OTB suppressor, so I can clean the suppressor while still having the extra length not be pointless. The only issue is, I can't seem to track down an OTB suppressor in anything bigger than 7.62. Any idea? I don't have a workshop, so making my own is pretty much out of the question.

The English Pit. I currently shoot on BLM land, and that sucks for actual target shooting. The only rifle range nearby is the Tri-County gun club, and joining is a pain and a half. Bullshit. I've tried animal control and the police and they tell me that they can't do anything until it is clear that it's a threat beyond just taking the thing in. Apparently I live in one of the most lax cities in the country for this kind of shit. Well for the past year or so I've just grown to accept the fact that my family can't leave the house without me and that even then I have to be carrying some sort of weapon, after that and presumably my stoner neighbors trying to break into my house/snooping around while I was gone, I went ahead and got my CCW license so I generally have my LC9 on me. The thing is I'm years into my mortgage, I have a stable job here, the schools are decent for my kids, and everything is pretty much fine and dandy except for my fucking neighbors and more importantly the dog.

just how much of a problem is the top open gap'd action of Garand and M14?
mud, grit, and shit can get into the trigger mechanism or obstruct the op rod channel, causing a failure to go into battery which may result in a KB. it's even worse on the garand because it has no magwell so debris gets built up and shit.

I missed the delivery attempt in the morning but I picked it up from the post office after work and I love it (Canadian so no need for an FFL, guns just get shipped directly to us).
Pros:
-Tiny gun for a 12 gauge.
-Can take 3.5" shells.
-Best ghost ring sights I have ever looked down. Very easy to aim properly.

Kind of I guess, except in this case this is much more stupid in the fact that you'll turn into a vegetable if u do get shot in the fucking head and you manage to do so to yourself, waste of money.
With face masks, same deal except with some (face mandibles with eye shield, can clip onto the helmet) they give some space where the bullet can expend that energy into, and not directly into your face, you'll still possibly get bruised and maybe a fracture or something broken maybe, but unlike a hat its certain your not gonna basically die
Maybe it'd stop fragmentation from a pipe bomb or tannerite lawnmower fuckery. I doubt it'd have good results against gunfire.
