Here in Mexico we have these
Mendoza fabricates this kind of ammo for next pic related that are salvos and the slug separately, which is very stupid, but they count as airgun ammo and it's cheap
The salvo is a .22
>>30205878
For this "airgun" which holds one in the chamber and is manual cocking and everything
So it works as a revolver, the hammer hits the salvo and the slug comes out
But the ammo is stupid
There are certain regulations that force the barrel to break at certain pressure, but is there any way in which a recalibration to .22 could happen..?
Thanks in advance
I strongly suspect that you would be significantly better off with a pipe and nail.
>>30205878
turning a 4.5/.177 caliber into a 22lr would be incredibly labor intensive to the point where its cheaper to start from scratch.
converting a 22 cal airgun to fire real ammo and use the airgun barrel can be done. though the difficulty depends on the gun. how easy it comes apart and its materials

So what's /k/ doing to stop the Social Security gun ban?
>>30205682
Senile seniors who live off of social security checks and have their affairs managed by a caseworker were the only ones affected, and they're too poor to buy guns. If they bought guns before while they had their cognisance and job then they get to keep them and let your cousins inherit them (fuck you grandpa, see you in hell).
>>30205721
>who live off of social security checks
you mean the checks they paid into for 50+ years?
>have their affairs managed by a caseworker
maybe their kids are shit and they just needed some help
>fuck you grandpa, see you in hell
found the shitty grandson
>>30205745
Wow Giddy, it was a little tounge-in-cheek, but I have no problem with senile seniors not being allowed to buy guns.
If they can't be trusted to manage their own affairs, they don't get trusted with buying more guns. Don't like it? Then don't be dependent on social security like it's was designed to be your only source of income at that age.
So /K/omrades, what song plays for you as you charge to victory?

Today marks the day I got my first fun. Springfield XDs in .45 post recall so how'd I do? I was looking to start with a compact pistol for my EDC and then eventually get a full size pistol at some point but for now I feel like I made a good choice. Pic is exactly how mine looks currently waiting on my background check to clear to go get mine
>>30205664
Congrats, I came very close to getting that one. Ended up with the G43 instead, which is a little lighter but the sights suck ass.
>>30205727
Mine came with a red front sight with some different colors to swap em out and I was lucky enough to get hooked up with a 7 round mag and a 5 round mag
>>30205664
>falling for the .45acp meme
other than that you did good (not knowing the price)
Heya /k/. My income just doubled and I live in a low cost of living area so I've now got 2k to blow a month. What kinda shit should I get first? I've only got a meh tier 1911, a bargain bin AK, and a Shield 9 at the moment.
>>30205493
Save up at least 5 grand of that before you even consider buying something worth more than 750 bucks.
>>30205493
Lever gun in 45-70 for classic American blasting, and build an AR-15 for modern American blasting.
Never allow yourself to fall into the ruts that are fudd-dom or tacticool faggotry. Embrace the whole world of shooting.
Oh, and score a 12ga of your choice somewhere, skeet shooting is hella fun.

Also look at stuff from Fulton Armory.
>Mortar VS Artillery
Assuming roughly the same shell size, is there any benefit of using one over the other?
>>30205382
Yes.
>>30205382
>is there any benefit of using one over the other?
That's why they both exist.
>>30205417
>>30205443
Well I'm an ignoramus so can you tell me what they are?
Why are they called "silencers" when they're louder than jackhammers?
>>30205246
because stupid people say stupid things.
The real name is suppressors because they suppress the retort
>>30205246
Theyre called suppressors for one.

Hey /k/, Im ashamed to say that I know very little about the Korean war. I understand the political history, but know virtually nothing about the technology. I notice that the closeness of it to WW2 makes it a very interesting time for weapons, and would like to know more about what weapons/vehicles they had been using. What upgrades from WW2 had been made?

Choppers and jet planes.
By and large most of the equipment was the same, the average grunt on both sides being armed with weaponry developed for WW2, with some exceptions
>M20 Super Bazooka
>Pershing and M46 Patton Tanks
>M2 and M3 (limited use) carbines
>Centurion tanks (Commonwealth Forces)
>Choppers
>Jet aircraft on both sides
This is a simplified list but you get the idea.
>>30205217
>those fucking helicopters
Were we the baddies in Korea?
What guns do y'all hate seeing tacted out?
>>30205101
SKSs are the worst. Somehow those all ended up in the hands of clowns.
>>30205123
>Somehow those all ended up in the hands of clowns.
Maybe because nobody else would buy them?
The only reason to buy an SKS is because you did not want a bolt rifle, but were new to full size firearms.
>>30206556
and they were cheap as fuck back in the day
If you dropped $800 on a rifle, would you be inclined to do some retarded shit to it?
If only you spent $80 on a rifle and fucked something up, then you're not fucked.
Are AK-AR hybrids a viable choice or are they a zerg forsaken memegun/unholy spawn?
It's called a Galil.

Fuck off, kike.
Best cases to bury guns in? Clinton just got the nomination and I'm assuming an AWB is around the corner.

>not preparing for war
>>30205046
If it's time to bury your guns, then it's time to use your guns.
Start selecting targets, planning, and mapping now. Time is precious.
Does anybody actually use a holster like this? I cringe every time I see them advertised.
The trigger is only protected on one side. This is almost as bad as that dumb ass hanging his glawk from a loop on the magazine.
>>30205036
I see countless things like this advertised. The masses generally seem to eat it up. I don't understand why you wouldn't just use an actual holster.
You guys missing the point of that style of holster aren't you. Its not for your carry gun, it's for quick draws in competition

Califag here going to school in Arizona.
I'd like to buy a bunch of guns while I'm here for school. I know you need an Arizona ID to buy one, but what about establishing residency or any of that? How do the feds actually know I moved to Arizona?
Also, if anyone could recommend me a good gun store in the Phoenix/Tempe/Mesa area, that would be nice.
What kind of guns you lookng for?
We have a lot of custom ar15 builders out here.
>>30204872
I'm looking for a .45 (preferably a 1911), a full sized 9mm, and to build my own AR15. I want to get a pistol first so I can CC.
>>30204934
I would start stacking ar parts and 40 round mags if I was you. Are 1911s allowed in cuckafornia? I honestly dont know that answer. Az native here.
