Hello /K/ommerads
I have several AK's, but my Cugir in 7.62 is being a little cunt.
Sometimes it fails to fire, the primer is barley dented. I dissembled everything, removed the firing pin, cleaned it, lubed up everything but every 15th shot still does not fire.
Its not the ammunition, since my other raifus chew it up.
So how do i fix this?
Is the firing pin too short or what?

Why would an S-3 Viking fly over my sleepy Midwestern college town?
Like not just fly over but it was low and circled the town.
My town is very far away from any naval air station so even if they were still in service and not sold off to other countries it would still be rare to see.
And yes I'm certain it was an S-3.

There's much less picking on Poles now to be honest, the 'picking' has shifted to Romanians, Gypsy looking people, Middle Easterners, Poles are pretty much ok (a great compliment in the UK) now.
I must admit I had to correct an idiot I'm acquainted with who thought the Poles owed us for WWII, had to point out that we never set foot in Poland, they fought at D-day with us, during the Battle of Britain, at Monte Casino etc etc

They shoot really great, but the disassembly is a pain in the ass, and they tend to run for a lot of money and shoot more expensive calibers. You would be happier getting a different battle rifle, unless you really want one of these.
Why doesn't any one here talk about the Polish army? I always wondered what their capable of when it comes to warfare.

I want to try my hand at building a firearm from a parts kit. I'm leaning towards building a sterling. I've never tried this before. Is this a good starting build or are there simpler options? I'm willing to learn a bit of welding to get this together. What else will I need to know?
