How do vegetarians justify eating mushrooms?
Mushrooms are most certainly not plants...the mycelium is more like a giant organism and the fruiting bodies are it's reproductive tendrils.

Why do some alcoholics develop cirrhosis of the liver and others don't? Why do some who drink themselves into oblivion live to be 100 and some who just casually drink have liver failure, what's up with that /ck/.

Eventually your liver WILL give up. I drank about a fifth of liquor every day for a decade before mine started going bad. Once it starts shutting down you'll be able to tell something is wrong. My eyes and skin turned yellow and my piss was always super dark no matter how much water I drank. I usually puked up the first few shots I took and didn't feel normal until I got a bit of a buzz going.
Instead of stopping when I just drank more and eventually stopped breathing. I spent about a week hooked up...

So this is a picture of an old fashioned in an old fashioned glass. But whenever I search for recipes and make them, i end up with only a tiny amount of drink. Even if I add a bunch of ice it still only fills about half the glass.
So what gives? This happens with practically every cocktail I try to make

glasses have gotten bigger. tge classic rocks glass was 5-6 oz, now its 8-10. same with the highball and martini glasses, look at old movies then compare to todays monstrosities

If you have to. Say the power is out because of a blizzard and all you have is an emergency generator that you can plug the microwave into.
By far, my preferred way to cook bacon is in the oven. About 15 minutes at 350 degrees should do it.

My parents gave me this set of hot sauces for Christmas. I opened them up and tasted a few. Fucking all of them taste like pure vinegar buffalo chicken bullshit. Even the "teriyaki" sauce tastes no different. I love spicy foods, but can't seem to find any good hot sauces that aren't just pure vinegar garbage.
If it tastes like buffalo wing sauce, I'll hate it. Any suggestions?
