Cut into wedges, sprinkle salt, dip in oil, 12-15 minutes at 375

Sup /ck/, my mom bought a brick of this stuff (English coastal cheddar) but she tasted it and hated it and asked me if I can cook anything with it. I've never had this stuff before, so I have no clue what to do with it. What can I make with this stuff? What is it good on/goes well with? Recipes are appreciated.

It's fucking cheese, dude. Put in almost anything and fatties will drool.
Try cornbread with fennel, coriander, sea salt, and that gross ass cheese grated into it.

Anyone else hate cheese ? Its not uncommon for restaurants near me to not have a single menu item that they don't slather cheese all over. Pisses me off and then when you ask them for no cheese they act like its some big fucking ordeal.

who here likes little ceasers pizza?

2 pizzas for 10$ is pretty amazing

They're like 6 dollars here, I think. And that's just boring old pepperoni. Most of the good (or custom) ones are over 10 dollars. Plus tax too.

Which still isn't bad. The pizza is pretty good.

chili and cornbread is my favorite meal in the world.

just put the bread in the bowl and break it up a bit, so it gets nice and soggy.

My sister's boyfriend has some chicken

Is this undercooked? His dad said it was fine while his coworkers are saying all kinds of shit including "it's just blood lol"

It's perfectly fine.

A little color isn't the same as undercooked.

Cut that bigger chunk in half if you're not sure.
>>
>>7426634
It said "cooked" right there on the can, didn't it?
>>
>>7426654

Looks like they boiled it in plain water.

Hello everyone.

I'm looking to buy a grill.

After looking into several choices I have concluded on the following two models:

IMETEC Grill GL3000 (pic)
https://youtu.be/6JcsictuLRE

and

RUSSELL HOBBS Family Grill
https://youtu.be/XZHrEn8fXKk

Are you guys familiar with either one of these companies and/or appliances?

Thanks.

Oh, btw the imetec is priced at 89 euros, while the RH is priced at 64 euros

How long does a boiled egg stay good for when refrigerated? Would it matter if it was hard/soft boiled?

Practically forever, assuming you didn't poke holes in the shell and it stays in the fridge.

A month?

>>7426246

Provided they survive, at least a week

Why doesn't the pork knuckle change color during preparation? What is the chemical explanation? ELI5?
7 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>7426110
It is already cured and smoked prior to preparation. So the color change occurred before it got to you.
>>
>>7426110
It looks like it's just fat or collagen; what color should it be?
>>
>>7426347
The color is fine. It's a joint that was cured and smoked. It's really really tasty, but yeah, all collagen. The texture is a bit weird for some, but it is fucking delicious.

I tend to use it to flavor bean soups. I pull it out, and pull the meat off of the bone and mix it back in when I'm done.

What is the best brand of coffee beans? I have been drinking Illy from my moka pot, but it lacks flavor. Any suggestions? I can barely afford the nice $20 12oz since I use nice beans for pour over. Any good wholesale beans that aren't burnt like charcoal?

>>
>wholesale beans
>good

good luck lol
>>
>>7426052
Ignore this. Ideally we could all have beans roasted and ground on the same day as you make the coffee, but that isn't realistic.

Beans bought from a supermarket can still make a great cup of coffee. I'm not sure what brands there are in stores in America though so I can't help you.

Happy mug
