Why do so many people shudder at the idea of eating offal? Is it a cultural thing?

I don't really have an interest in eating liver or kidneys, as their main function is to filter wastes.
That being said, I grew up around the wilderness and have eaten moose nose, moose heart, moose tongue, beaver tail and probably other things I can't recall.

as long as I can chew it easily I'll eat anything. I rubbery offal makes me feel sick though.

What does /ck/ like in their salads? I'm a fatty trying to eat right and want to see what other people usually eat in their salads.
I like [spoiler]banana peppers[/spoiler], onion, and I'm gonna start cutting way back on dressing.
I like whatever fresh fruit and vegetables I have around.
Pic related is the salad I had for dinner last night.
A good thing to add to your salads instead of dressing is salsa, it evenly coats the salad and is very flavorful while providing nothing other than lean vegetables and maybe a bit of salt.
My favorite salads tend to be green leaf lettuce, sliced tomato and onion, room temperature whole black beans, cilantro, salsa and a squirt of lime.
Add cooked corn and white rice if you want it to be a bit more filling for dinner but since you're a big boy I'd suggest skipping the rice for now.

Went in and asked for a Tuna and Ham salad and the cashier said they had to check with owner. Guy comes out and says "no we no do that". I argued with him for about twenty minutes before he pulled out his phone and called 911. They came and arrested me for disturbing the peace.

Fried up some ground pork until tasty and caramelized and mixed it with refried beans.
Topped with shredded 4 mex cheese mix and some crumbled up panela and queso fresco.

What is the secret to making a pizza dough that is airy and light or slightly chewy? Every single time I try it is dense like cement or hard clay when I'm mixing it and when baked it's just crispy like a hard cracker. I'm getting pissed.

1 cup warm water with 2 teaspoons yeast
2 teaspoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon olive oil
I also put in some oregano and pepper but it ends up completely flavorless.
