I have a girl coming over.
Problem is that she's a vegaterian.
What should I cook to get laid?
>>7880841
Raw onions and silt. works good mate.
just go out and pick up some shit off the ground
Steamed veggies with soup and some poison for good measure.
Alternatively, tie her to a chair and force feed her meat until her stomach distends and she can take no more, and then you fuck her.
I need to know what this sandwich consists of.
How to make the bread and why is it dark? I don't think it's rye.
What stuff is in there? I know it's vegan but what's the slurry bit made of?
Thanks in advance.
Pumpernickel?
Looks like rye bread though.
>>7880701
Crumb looks more like pumpernickel
What's your favourite 18th century recipe?
>>7880649
good god i fucking love this dude. Probably the meat pies, or the one pudding they made that one time. Only problem is, Suet is literally impossible to get.
Man, I mention this guy in a troll thread about cast iron and you guys go crazy.
You're welcome I guess?
>>7880654
>Suet is literally impossible to get.
That sucks. I can buy it in most supermarkets here in Bong.
Maybe try a butcher?
Surely not everything you eat is home-made, so what are some worthy bottled barbecue sauces? My local stores carry very few brands, the most available is this one. Is their range any good?
>>7880544
Stubb's is pretty good for store bought. I think I've tried the original and the sweet heat and wasn't disappointed. That honey pecan sounds interesting but I've never seen it.
Famous Dave's is basically a slightly better SBR. The natural sweet one uses sugar instead of HFCS but is a tad bit too sweet.
>>7880544
Stubb's is good stuff imo
Stubbs sauce is good too bad the actual restaurant is meh

Do you remove the white string (the chalazae) from eggs?
They've started grossing me out so much lately ever since I found one intact in an underdone omelette, looking like a white slimy disgusting bugger. I don't know how to get passed it.
>>7880417
Simple:
Fully cook your omelettes or any egg in general instead of eating them undercooked/raw like a fucking reptile.
>>7880472
Putting it like that makes it sound really cool to be a "fucking reptile". I want that.
Bitch, I'm a fucking reptile.

what the fuck was his problem?
We need more people like him, has conviction, passion for quality, safety and entrepreneurship.
>>7880151

He actually gives a shit.
The whole anger and yelling thing is a combination of his passion and him being the TV personality that lower class mouth breathers eat up.
It's not like he's being very fake in the given situation either. Imagine if you were a very successful chef and restaurant owner being told by complete morons that you don't know what you're talking about while you're trying to help stop them from further ruining the shit holes they shouldn't have even opened in the first place
What really bugs me is that a good portion of the places he goes to...

What's up /ck/.
In about 6 hours I have a grill coming over for our second date and I am cooking beef ragout with hand-made pasta with chocolate orange mousse for dessert.
Wish me luck guys.
Are people still saying grill instead of girl? Maybe she likes old memes.

Haha what is that, ortolin?
I made curry for the first time using mild Golden Curry sauce mix but I don't think I made it right. I used stewmeats since I had it in my freezer and added some potatoes and carrots in addition to the onions that the box says to use.
The thing is that the color is nowhere near the same as it appears on the box, it looks more like yellowish-brown (haha get it) and the curry itself is very thick, almost like those little pudding cups you can buy at the store. The taste itself is very hearty, although that might be because I used more meat and veggies than recommended,...

Why do americans always buy boxed food mixes?
Boxed pancake mixture instead of just mixing flour and eggs, boxed cake mixture instead of mixing flour and baking powder, boxed curry mixture instead of mixing a few spices.
>>7879715
Golden Curry is japanese curry, and I wouldn't call it "curry making" at all. It's gravy making, from a mix. It's like jambalaya from a box, it's just a name given to some boxed premade comfort food with a touch of curry in it.
Color aside, what you made with a lovely beef stew with thick gravy and a touch of curry flavor. Now, don't buy that shit again unless you have some anime/manga/weeaboo desire or a reason to replicate something from your infact japanese childhood. It's...

We're fat and lazy to start from scratch, that's why nobody ever makes homemade pasta over storebought shit. Also it's cheaper, fucking hamburger helper is like $1.50 each box.

I came to /ck/ to learn and share knowledge about great food. Instead I've ended up becoming an expert in the various fast-food chains of the world, including the seemingly ENDLESS number of American chains.
I'm frankly baffled at how many chains operate in America, especially given the overlap between their offerings.
Why did they start putting salt in caramel?
>>7879631
it tastes better
>>7879631
Because the modern palate has become accustomed to everything being heavily salted as a result of the high volume of processed foods in the average diet.
>>7879631
Because flavour contrasts are nice
Hey cu/ck/s, I've been a dumpling chef, sushi chef, and am currently a baker.
I was thinking of making a food blog with vegan dishes, meme shit like salted caramel (it's delicious, I know, but still a meme), and easy to make food... I think you get the demographic I'm aiming for.
>What things would I need for this? I.E. camera, tripod, domain, and hosting server
>What meme shit would boost my views and traffic in your opinion
What dish would you faggots like?

Either butter or cream cheese.

Do you have any ideas for meme related foods or subcategories?
Hipsters love memey shit.
