I'm surrounded by places* to get chicken, but it's that little burger girl with the red hair that has me hooked.

*Zaxby's, Chick-fil-A, Slim Chickens, Chicken Express, Chester's, Popeye's, KFC, Hardee's (probably the best place to get tendies, t-b-h f-a-m)

The cheese on it looks good........

I have no oven where I live and was wondering, are there any ways to make dishes you would normally need an oven for on a hotplate, like bread, pies, and cookies? Specifically, I have a NuWave Induction Cooktop, one 11" pan and 1 small pot

not allowed in my dorm, fire hazard. A toaster oven is rather big too, would be a hassle to hide it when i wasn't using it

If you live in the US I'm pretty sure universities are legally required to have at least one oven in a domicile facility, Anon. Ask where it is.

As for things not using it, you're looking at fermenting your own hard cider, lots of sandwiches and microwaveable recipes, and drinks.

You asked for it, here we go.

To ranch, or not to ranch?

Personally i'm pro-dip.

Why would you would you dip pizza in anything? If it's dry a little olive oil and under the oven for a minute, or just get better pizza.

please help. how do i make eggs.

so when i look it up online, they say "start off with high heat but when you put in the eggs immediately turn it down to medium"

is this really necessary? can i just leave it on medium the whole time? and is medium really the best temp anyway?

and how do i know when the eggs are done? i notice that sometimes when they "seem" done, the top of the eggs still have some of that gross gooey stuff (not the yolk, but the really sticky stuff that comes out when you break the egg). should all of that be gone?

I'm going to live a month on the workhouse diet for fun. I'm going to splurge in a few areas. The bread, for example, will be the highest quality I can find. I've updated it a bit:

Breakfast:
>bread and butter
>freshly ground oat groats cooked with milk, butter, and brown sugar

Lunch:
>bread and butter
>cheese

Dinner:
>bread and butter
>soup*
>2 pints (32 oz) of quality beer

*I'm going to peel and trim carrots, onion, and celery, and cook the scraps with the beef or chicken bones. Once the broth is finished cooking, I'll add the remaining fresh vegetables until perfectly cooked.

Open to suggestions. How long do you think I'll last? Will my teeth fall out? Guess we'll see!
