I love spicy food.
However, recently I have not been able to enjoy it because I know the next day I will have awful diarrhea. I dont eat spicy foo on nights before I work, or have other engagements.
Last night I had some Jalapenos on my dinner and I woke up to a BAD stomach ache and quickly took a liquid shit.
Does /ck/ have any tips? anything I can do ahead of time to prevent this? like Pepto-bismol pre or post meal?

She has gotten diabetes and I thought maybe there's something that I can buy her to enrich her life quality so that the reduction of sugar in her diet isn't too overwhelming. She has no job at the moment and I'm worried she will turn to snacks.

So anyway I'm not usually on this board but I couldn't find the vegan thread so I started one.
I sometimes go vegetarian for a month or so to detox and trim up a little before the next bulk. This time I'm trying vegan to see how I go. So far in 4 days I've lost 3 kg. Usually any change will show some weight loss in the 1st couple of weeks but I'm curious to know how it will go.

Honestly I always thought it would taste bad until I had some a couple days ago. It's pretty good, but it's very think. I'd cut mine with some milk. I also want to make some. Any good recipes? I'm not a drinker so would you recommend some liquor I should put in it? I really don't know much about making eggnog.
Make it yourself, you'll actually be able to taste it without all the preservatives and flavor extracts turning it into chemical swill.
How does one reduce the oil popping onto you while pan frying? Better yet, how do you get used to this whole thing?
I just can't stand cooking something on the pan (medium~high heat) and getting popped all over my arm and upper body. Wearing kitchen aprons doesn't do jack shit and closing the lid will ruin some of the cooking I do.

You have to temper the oil by throwing in a few ice cubes so it can sustain high heat.

As far as pan frying...there's a reason why not too many people do it. If you'd like to saute in a little oil that's a different matter. Just make sure that whatever you're throwing in the pan is dry.
