What is the dankest chicken sandwich you've ever had? Doesn't have to be from a chain but those are fine too. What made it so dank?

Pic somewhat related. I've had better from restaurants but forgot where. This is all I can think of.

Arby's new 2 for $6 crispy chicken is pretty dank.
>>
Probably that one from KFC that used the fried chicken as buns.

I'd only eat it with some dank weed.

Germany? theres no such thing anymore. soon you'll be eating kebab and nothing else.

What do you think of diamond sharpening stones? I've been looking for different alternatives to sharpen my knives. These aren't very exclusive or expensive knives. I have several Zwilling J.A. Henckels knives, a few Wusthoff knives, a Victorinox Pallisander knife, and some (even) cheaper knives which I still want to sharpen.
I've looked a the 'normal' whetstones, sharpening systems (like chef's choice) and diamond stones.

Diamond stones have my interest now, because they're more resilient and require less maintenance and so on.

My purpose is to get the knives in a reasonably sharp state, but I have no fetish with ultra super duper sharp knives.
So while this might become a new hobby and be a 'Zen moment' for me, the most important thing is to get the knives in a decent shape.

I've found a couple of different brands on several sites, for example DMT and DMD (Chinese stuff).
I tend to favor DMD, because they are half the price of DMT.

Do you have experience with these stones and with these brands?
Advice, tips and experiences are well appreciated.

Why are you looking for an alternative to whet stones? There is no need to reinvent the proverbial wheel.
>>
I just use the sharpener rod thingy that came with my knife set. Just use it every time I'm going to use the knife, works fine.

I will be in the great land of freedom and burgers for the next 2.5 weeks, and I want to have some suggestions on what I have to try to:

>a) understand all that hype around fastfood this place seems to have
>b) see that the US is not only the land of fat and sugar as it is often implied, but actually does offer some nice food
>c) see that the US is really a very very fat and gluttonous nation, and I am very happy to be european

I will be in Las Vegas and San Francisco.

Obviously, I am in hotels, so I cant get stuff in the supermarket that would require preprations, so I am looking for ready to eat stuff like candies, but also restaurants, fast food or real food, that will break and reinforce my prejudices.

All of what you see here cost me $29 at Aldi.

So I did some price math. Pic related would have cost me around $46 at Walmart and $57 at Publix.

You have no excuse.

I loved Aldi. They used to be kinda ghetto, but they stepped up their game and I used to shop there for most of my groceries before going anywhere else for special items.

I visited Germany once and saw that Aldi has a sister company called "Lido" which is essentially the same fucking place, only full of German name brands instead of American/European.

I moved to seattle and we don't have them here. I miss them. Good score, OP.

Might as well mention that they had a half price on all damaged cans and boxes. If there was a dent in a box or a can, it was half off. Not ashamed to admit that I damaged a few myself to get half off.

it's clean and smooth. i don't sense any harshness in it.
