One of the little-known features of 4chan is "checksteg". If you type "checksteg" in the email field and respond to a thread, it will check all the pictures in the thread for embedded files which have been hidden in them using the "hidden RAR" method. The tool was created to catch people hiding CP in the sinks threads, and also people hiding book PDFs on "lit Thursday", but that's a rarity nowadays. Most of the "hidden RAR" traffic comes from trolls hiding various versions of the troll face in other JPGs in a sort of "troll face underground". For instance, the troll face 256-color reverse green edition is hidden in this lumberjack picture.
