Currently about halfway into the game and tt's so obvious this guy is likely going to betray me. The way he's constantly jealous of me throughout the game, how he thinks his life is meaningless without the Dark Hour, and the way that freak and his buddies want to keep the Dark Hour active, it's pretty likely Junpei will side with them soon.

Super Mario World is like the definitive best 2D platformer of all time. Gorgeous and creative level design, a plethora of unique levels, a challenge, satisfying secrets, best music and of course, solid as hell graphics.
There's also Super Metroid, another contender.
I've heard one of the Mega Mans fit into this category too but I haven't played any to say.

this game ruined RPGs for me. No matter what I play, whether some generic SquareEnix title, or a generic western rpg, nothing compares to the experience I had with Nocturne. Everything else seems so shallow. Not to mention the stylized graphics blow away even the "best" AAA titles today
Recommend me something that will restore my interest in rpgs that is not Shin Megami Tensei or Persona
