Here's the thing about 4chan. I'd argue it's actually one of the more inclusive places that exist on the internet. But it gives nothing up for free. You want to be accepted? Fight for it. Prove why you should. Don't think you deserve respect, actually earn it.

So I was thinking
I'm opposed to the whole "SJW" party lines bullshit. I like Anita's videos sort of because I do feel like representation of women in games could be a lot better, though I wouldn't say I agree religiously like some people do.
So I was wondering, does the /v/ community think there are feminist issues in the games industry? This drama seems to be another thing entirely and imo is distracting from what actually is kind of an issue. Guys treating girls differently in games, not as many women in tech, not as many female playable characters, etc. These are issues that I'd like to see us work on as a community (gamers) and I hate to see these so-called feminists making it about themselves instead of talking about real issues or solutions.
When I read about /v/ funding TFYC and creating Vivian James it was amazing. It was so nice to see those smug bitches complaining and arguing about harassment and misogyny while you guys actually fixed the shit they're supposed to be mad about. You funded women working in the tech industry and you created a great female character.
I want to see more of that. I love the idea of /v/ just rubbing it in their faces as they do the stuff they've all been talking about. Not for the SJW's but for real female gamers, and for games as a whole. I don't mean removing all sexism or sexy outfits or whatever. I mean just having some female bad guys now and then like in fallout, or having female protagonists like in portal where it doesn't even matter. Just increase the % a little.
So.. What does /v/ think about these issues anyway? And how do you guys feel about doing more good works instead of arguing about irrelevant shit?

I don't really get the reasoning behind that either. But if I had to guess it's because it was easier to make than having to make something with an original moveset of his own.
Every single bullshit internal conflict and choice in The Walking Dead Game Season 1 could have been quickly and efficiently resolved if, instead of Lee as the protagonist, the game featured Marlo Stanfield as the player character and Chris Partlow instead of Kenny. Instead of picking one side or the other, you coldly play the field and always do the smart thing, in the end saving the lives of virtually every likeable character.
>After being arrested for inevitably returning to a life of swinging his dick around in the mean streets of Baltimore, Marlo and Chris sent far away from their network to the state of Georgia to face trial. Discover boat in the shed but it’s too small for whole group so no need to go to Crawford, let Omid die and Christa be pissed because who gives a shit, let her leave with the boat if she wants and kill her later if she’s a problem. Lie about cancer survivors and pretend they’re bandits, you have enough men to fuck them up and take over, especially with the training Chris has inevitably given them. Crazy fucker can’t kidnap Clementine because you have the people to guard the only 2 ways into your hidey-hole and if he tries your group will fuck him up. You and the vast majority of the characters survive. Over time you inevitably assert your control of the survivors and begin the process of swinging your dick around in a new time and place.
Too bad for virtually every character in the game Marlo wasn't in charge.
