What are some good indie games /v/?
Just finished this, expected 2deep4u retro shit but it was a really tight game with some nice tunes.

I'm not really sure what to recommend unless you give me a better idea than "good". I could probably name a number of indie games that are good for various reasons, but that doesn't mean you'd like them just because of that.

Assassin's Creed 1 STILL has the best escapes in the entire series. Best assassinations, best chase theme, best atmopshere.

The only downside it had, was the repetitive gameplay. Other than that, great game.
2 and brotherhood simply crushed it, brotherhood was the serie's peak IMHO
but escapes ≠ assassinations
they are only a part.
most of the AC1 assassinations leading up to the kill were mediocre

Ultra Street Fighter 4, Skullgirls, The King of Fighters XIII, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend soon.
On a side note, I thought playing Mortal Kombat using an arcade stick would feel better but it actually sucks. Holding a button all the time to block feels like chore using one of these.

I wanted to get villager but apparently he's a pain in the ass to get, sinceFUCKING GAMESTOPwas sold out.
I work at best buy, and we didn't even get Marth or Villager in, and had like 2 Wii Fit trainers.
Tons of Pikachus, Dongs, Peach, Mario, Kirby, Samus etc.
Do you like the quality? Do you enjoy it for smash? My Dong Amiibo is actually doing pretty fucking well, I set it loose in 8 player smash yesterday and it actually WON a match, and stayed alive a good portion of the match in other fights (like last one to die or second)
What Amiibos are you hyped for? I can't wait for DAKUNT and Weegee.

So one of the reasons I wanted to use Unity despite all the locked features, was because it can produce games that can run on toasters and within browsers. Thing is everybody says UE4 can do the exact same thing.
So I'm wondering if there are any good examples of this and how well they run. UE4 is very pretty but it's no good if only gaming PCs can actually play the games I make.
If you're on your own, unity. If you're part of a team, UE4.
Nobody on /v/ understands game engines or game dev in general.
Fags here will slag engines like GameMaker but then suck off Hotline Miami, not knowing it was made in it.
Don't expect high level tech talk here. People just parrot opinions with no thinking behind that repetition.
