I always wanted to play as a snotty little goblin it's also a really good stealth game. Better then AC that's for fucking sure.

I did the first 2-3 levels but I dropped it and havent ended up finishing it. It was pretty fun, unforgiving for fuckups but fun. The combat besides stealth kills make it so you should probably just play on the hardest difficulty so there is no combat and the cutscenes are lazy.

sup /v/ so after a long break I am returning to Dark Souls II just to find out it's dead?
My internet connection is very stable and cross-region play is set to allowed, yet I waited 30 minutes + at the last giant boss battle, the pursuer boss battle, the 3 faggots from the lost Bastille boss battle with my new character and no summon signs to be found (yes I was human all the time)? Takes me 15min + on average to get summoned (if I get summoned in the first place), tried all different hours of the day, tried to get it on at iron keep with my old pvp build, only like 5 dragon bro's and 1 or 2 red signs maybe appeared (this is tops, mostly nothing)

Often you can use it to move your character. This one i used as an example feels just right. It is not to hard, not to soft. Goldielocks would like it. You could use it to gently control the speed and direction of a plumber or you use it to input a Hadoken. You can control your character effortless with it. Soon you will forget that you have to use your thumb to move it. It will become an extension of your body. There will be no need to actively think about it.
Some car companies work hard on making the sound of a closing car door sound just right. The same attention to details is found in some analogsticks.

Modern open world cRPG?
We have a fair few 1st/3rd person aRPGs like the elder scrolls, witcher, gothic, risen etc, plus the ones that aren't in the traditional fantasy setting such as Fallout.
But what about the older party system RPGs, baulders gate, icewind dale etc - is there anything out or in production with that isometric/eagle eye view, but with a fully open world, dynamic AI that can make decisions for unpredictability, a bit of sandbox gameplay.
I'd play that.

There have been quite a few. Divinity Original Sin is pretty good, Wastelands 2 is great, I heard good things about Lords of Xulima.

I believe all of those currently out are turn-based combat, I don't mind real-time with the ability to pause but turn based isn't really my thing.
Pillars of Eternity looks beautiful, though I've not read much about the game itself.
