I honestly don't agree with that. The fact is, there's enough rawif unbelievably repetitivecontent that a bit of rebalancing and some added depth with survival mechanics makes it a legitimately solid game. 7.5/10, at least.
I'm biased towards games that give you a lot of freedom anyway.
