Just go hard mode. But you need to whore out your pawn if you want some RC for them Level 3 weapons. Without pawn RC getting enough RC is a pain in the ass.
Hard mode for more gold. I don't even know how people make money on normal.

Quality of art is not directly correlated to production values, and will never be.
I would be more angry if it was the other way around like in movies, where Michael Bay shits a turd with a team of special effects and gets millions, while actual labors of love like The Reward sequels can't get any funding.
