In the demo every party member gave commentaries under the bestiary entries. But in the main game it doesn't happen at first, because Yew gets left alone. And I really liked how later in the game they added a cutscene that shows they decide to fill in the journal all together: Yew uses plain black ink, Edea orange, Tiz green and Magnolia blue...But then who was purple ink?
Really liked that bit in the demo version.
Just curious - is the Moonbase restoration balanced in a better way than Norende restoration? I remember being really into that mechanic in BD at first, but then it became way too easy/quick.

I'm playing KotOR 2 right now. It fucking blows my mind sometimes

So the assassin droid in the beginning completely set you the fuck up in case he failed. Also explains how other droids found you. Really great storytelling.

How come modern casual vidya fags that suck at video games and get their asses beat at Bloodborne pretend to like it? Like all DSP did was rage at BB. Throughout his playthrough he was getting assravaged and calling the game shit but then he claimed that BB was his favourite game of the year (and he couldn't even beat the DLC and ragequit at Ludwig).
Do shitty gamers just pretend to love Bloodborne/Souls because that's what the meme dictates? If they say they don't like it are they worried about being shitted on or something? I love Bloodborne because I actually do, not because it's expected of me, but it seems like these guys are just pretending to like the game so that people don't call them out as plebs or something. I've seen reviewers shit on other games for being 'too hard', but for some reason Bloodborne and Souls seems to get a pass when I don't doubt the games kicked their asses harder than any other games they played. What gives?

i gave it a try. got passed the 2nd boss but really lost interest in it. all it was is patience. aggro a guy from a group, keep your distance, wait for them to swing so you have an opening to hit and then go back to keeping your distance. it wasn't what i would call hard just tedious.

Nintendo 3ds dev kits aren't cheap. They charge a shitload for them.

I recently got Dark Souls and have spent a few hours on the game, and I honestly can't find the reason why it's so popular. I have only gotten to the place after the Undead Asylum (beginning of the game). I took the downward path and attempted both the abyss looking area (although I took one hit from a ghost, the first ones you encounter after crossed that makeshift bridge and ran) and the Drake's Lair or whatever (took off running from the ogre looking things in the cave and then got absolutely obliterated by that undead dragon). Then I attempted the upward stairs. I found a path near the Black Knight that goes down into that spiral stairwell with the dragon plated knight (?), and got obliterated by that guy with his......long, horn thingy. After that, I attempted the Taurs Demon up on the castle top. Almost had him but got obliterated thanks to how bad the game glitches and forces me to keep rolling until my stamina is gone and that archer. It seems like EXTREMELY too much work for such little reward that is completely useless to you when you first get it. I play games like MH and Soul Sacrifice and although they require working for rewards, it seems absolutely pointless in Dark Souls. I understand the game is supposed to be extremely difficult, that's not my issue. I find the work to by in extreme excess compared to the reward.

Why don't devs use digital services like Steam to offer demos of games they have listed?
Their sales would surely go up if people had the opportunity to play the game to see if they like it or if their PC will run it properly. I know I personally stray away from buying expensive games for these two reasons since I don't wanna pay like $80 for a game I don't know if I'll like or if it could even work. I'm sure lots of people are like this.

Because it costs time and money to build a restricted version of the game, and they suspect that the money a demo will get them is less than the money it will cost them.
i think studies show for normalfags who buy one game a year most people try the demo and decide not to buy the game, Unless its something unique like Truck Sim most demos hurt in opportunity costs

It's as if the Zone got turned into a fucking theme park and I'm not even exaggerating. The plot is also fanfic tier. I'd say that the only good things about it are mods such as Call of Chernobyl.
In literally every game since Zero Mission - except Fusion (last game chronologically) and Brawl, Samus is portrayed with a fat ass.
Is there any canonical reason for this?
