That boss was at least a bit creative, the fucking royal rat authority was easily one of the most retarded bosses in any souls game. The 5 mob rats that they just shoved in there for the sake of difficulty are pure bullshit, and the fucking death move where he pukes acid, thus breaking your gear and killing you is just adding insult to injury

Because it's still unlikely. A huge chunk of people go through lower burg and depths even on their first time, Unless they have the master key. Im not saying its fucking impossible to go on that route, A lot of people i know DID their first time, But it's more likely he skipped the ember because he had the master key rather then him going through the valley.
