I played Tales From The Borderlands over the weekend.

started replaying through borderlands 2 as krieg, so far so good
I wanted to like this series but my 1st interaction with it was such a fucking mess.

>trying to talk to my team but every two seconds I got radio chatter
>it's not the game giving me any vital info its meme's

>I just want to talk about what we are doing but by the time the chatter dies down we have beaten the boss
I know it's a minor thing but that kind set the tone of the game for me and left a bad taste in my mouth.

As far as i played it it seems pretty dull, repetitive (a lot of backtracking), the environment is meh and most of the characters are badly written.
Is this game overhyped or did it age very badly?
