Ubers set the pace of the entire match. Some defenses would be unbreakable without it.

Also I really like BD, though the rockets seemed nerfed to hell yet still rekt you on splash damage, and the latest update made long range firing with the Machine Gun/Pistol weapon almost impossible outside of single-tap firing

The sound design is completely fucked with digital distortion everywhere. ADS. Fucked up balance with OP hitscan enemies that slow the game down.
Generally, it's a silly and slightly fun diversion that ended up getting way too much attention and ended up flooding the scene with idiots that constantly nag for WAD compatibility.

We used to have tons of Club Nintendo threads because you exploit the thing with impunity and there were codes to share and the catalog updated more frequently.
My Nintendo is just getting off the ground, product codes haven't been implemented into recent retail releases despite there clearly being a section of the site for punching in codes, and the rewards catalog is anemic.

I can't figure out how in the heck have Myst - like games fallen off the radar and been replaced, in modern era, with impotent walking simulators of Chinese Room variety or even worse cheap knockoff of Android games that Jonathan Blow peddles.
Was it because no one can reach Cyan's artistic level? Were Japanese devs not interested in this? These sorts of spatial puzzles seem to be adjusted not only to high def gaming but also VR gimmick and no one even attempts to do them properly in any medium.
How are puzzle games coupled with outlandish art so scarce?

Same reason point-and-click adventure games in general died off. Market got over-saturated, people got bored.
What games has done the morality/karma mechanic better than the rest? Which side do you do on the first playthrough or just prefer the most in general, and why? Also how can we improve this mechanic to have stronger consequences other than slight NPC dialogue changes? Personally I think inFamous 1/2 did fairly decent with the morality system integrated with the gameplay, where if you were evil you'll literally suck the lifeforce out of anyone and your attacks are much more wreckless and chaotic and if you were good, your powers reflected on you trying to retain order and control such as zapping down enemies onto the floor.
