What makes a JRPG fun, to you?
Personally I primarily play these games for the battle system. I find them fun when I treat each battle like a puzzle, never levelling up and beating each challenge with a thought-out plan. Therefore, it's crucial that a game is finely balanced and has a battle system that allows for considerable tactical depth.

I'm playing legend of heroes: tits right now. It's pretty good but kinda barebones. I do like the characters and world though, so I will probably finish it.
