Why is it that-- 200 years since the Great War fucked shit up-- people are still living in the ruins of the old world and shitty shack towns made of salvaged corrugated metal?
Why haven't people made nice looking settlements from the abundant woodland or mined up some stones to build some houses? They did it in Fallout 1 and 2 and that was like 80 years after the bombs fell.
Why don't people keep their shops and homes tidy? Most the people in cities and larger settlements have been there for generations and have gotten past mere survival, but their houses still look like shitty ruins full of broken TVs.
Why are the minutemen portrayed as hardcore survivors when their saviour is some prewar vault dweller who has spent like three days in the new world?
When you have people like Pete Hines as your writing director, your game is completely fucking ruined.
