What are your thoughts on it? If you played the games, how well do you think they will translate to a horror film?
I kind of hope that it keeps that tension and mystery from the first game, while keeping jumpscares to a minimum, and hopefully none at all. but knowing hollywood horror, its going to be a big, loud, stupid jumpscarefest

According to the "programming" idea gays would be just as programmed to be gay as straights are to be straight. He's saying that it's deterministic and we don't get to choose what our instincts are (whether it's to fuck women or to fuck men). It's obviously taken as a given that he's straight and was "programmed" to be that way because he specifically said that he was.
