I've been a trek fan my whole life. I watched tng when the first episode debuted and i really like enterprise.
If you compare its first 4 seasons to any other entry in the franchise its holds up and it was getting better every season.
The fact that it came out two weeks after 9/11 didn't help much when it came to finding an audience. Or dropping star trek from the title.
