Just ignore internet spoilers and watch it when you get home, duh.

GoT fans are literally no better than teenage girls crying over Twilight. Are you at least ashamed of being plebeian normie scum?

you live in an era where everything you want is on demand.

Its about on par with the first one. Main story I felt was pretty average for a haunted house/possession movie. James Wan knows how to do some creepy stuff but I find this series and Insidious relies too much on jump scares and loud sounds.

The demon nun in the painting scene was absolutely terrifying (but went on too long) and the crooked man was creepy (especially the dog scene) but felt like it belonged in a different movie.

I was sweating during the painting scene.

Valac was well done. Bill and the Crooked Man were weak.

It was a great movie but the first one was better because the spoopy ghost had more screentime

Also I really liked the Amityville opening.

The Nun is getting a spin-off film but Im not too excited about that. Annabelle was the scariest part of the first Conjuring but the movie was awful and not creepy in the slightest.
>>
Pretty lame. Tame enough to please average audiences I guess. And sixteen year old girls who say it's soo scary.

Otherwise it felt devoid of creativity. Mostly just a repeat of the first without any look into characters or interesting ways to tackle possession.

Do you really think the company capable of producing two of the biggest box office bombs in cinematic history without breaking a sweat or even a drop in stock revenue needs to pay anyone off, fucking no and anyone who thinks clearly hasn't ever talked to a woman in their life or ever been around anyone but themselves, it's called good business, they know exactly who to pander to, is it any wonder they waited so long to make toy story 3 and finding dory, no because they knew they had the internet generation by the fucking balls and if they waited until they come of age that they'd rake in the money and automatic success due to muh nostaglia and muh feels, prove me fucking wrong, I goddamn fucking dare you /tv/

Not gonna read all that so I'm changing the subject.

What are some good action flicks coming out this year I should keep an eye out for? Bourne is the only one that comes to mind.
>>
>>71153719
that's the only one coming to my mind too. though The Accountant might be interesting, with some action parts in it.
>>
>>71153719
haha don't even try watching it because you don't want to be accused of being a disney shill when you dare bring up any criticisms of the film

Watched parts of it as a kid but not the entire film until recently (thanks /tv/). My new favorite of all time. I need more sci-horror in my life. Can anyone suggest similar films?

Sadly, there's simply no good sci-fi horrors out there other than The Thing and Alien. Everything else that critics and fans praise comes at least ten levels below The Thing. Carpenter ruined the genre for everyone else.
>>
>>71152937
Alien
The Fly (1986)

You should also check out John Carpenter's other work. The Thing is his only sci-fi horror film but he made a bunch of amazing horror films and action films.
>>
Event Horizon
Pandorum ( Not too good but still sci-fi horror)

Han Solo traveling to the First Order Starkiller Base with just a janitor and a wookie while also not bringing along a small fleet of soldiers to help assist is indicative of the Marvelization of Star Wars by Disney.

Pretty much. Lucas would have never allowed this shit. Attacking an enemy base while practically by yourself is Disney capeshit tier.

Fucking Jews ruined star wars. Pic related is how the Starkiller operation should've gone.

Pretty sure Dark Knight did that. Outside 2 or 3 films, Marvel Studios has produced some of the most mediocre blockbusters ever.

they mention that a female body is a thing of beauty but a male body is utilitarian, that its just there to function.

Just finished watching the first movie. Why is Dumbledore such an asshole? What did the Slytherins do to piss him off?

Seriously, they deck the great hall out in Slytherin colors, get the Slytherins hopes all up only to dash them with his "last minute points." Like he probably had the points planned all along, why not just have them in and be transparent about it instead of all underhanded?

Seriously what did these guys ever do? Sure ok the blonde kid is a bit of a bully. Professor Snape is clearly a bit of a harsh teacher but I wouldn't call him unfair, plus apparently he was the one trying to save Harry on the broomstick afterall.

Why does it seem the whole school, staff included just freaking hate these kids? Even at the start, Professor Mcgonnagall at the start when she lists the houses, she's all perky when she says Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff then she basically spits Slytherin. Jesus people these are kids!

I'm guessing Voldemort was probably a Slytherin (based on Ron's line "every wizard whoever went bad was in Slytherin) Does that mean that every one who is ever in Slytherin is bad? Surely not, they're just kids for chrissakes.
