I never saw this movie as a kid, but i've seen it two or three times over the last maybe 8 years.
I cannot get into this film at all. I dont find it funny one bit. It might be well written, but i'm not fan of the premise either. I've tried a couple of times to finally get what makes this movie so great, but i still cant find it.
It's not a bad film at all, but the amount of people saying it's one of the best movies ever made is astonishing.
Can somebody explain to me why this film so incredibly loved by people? I suspect most of the people who love it saw it as a kid, and loves it so much due to nostalgia.I'm also not a big fan of the comedy of Bill Murray, could this be the reason why i dont get it?

It's alright for a cheesy zombie flick. It's got some pretty good practical effects and a zombie fighting a shark. So if you're into that kind of stuff you'll probably enjoy it.
