It was a meme

It was written by Mance.
Stannis is actually still alive.
>Led by Sean Parker, the Napster-Facebook-Spotify impresario portrayed by Justin Timberlake in The Social Network, the Screening Room has so far added a wide swath of industry bigwigs as stakeholders, including Martin Scorsese, J.J. Abrams, Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Peter Jackson, who explained his support by saying that it will expand the audience for a movie by catering to individuals who wouldn't otherwise go see it in theaters. And though a $150 set-top box and $50 per 48-hour rental might seem preposterous, if you're...

Imagine it. It will be glorious.

I'm confused on what this is. Are they renting you a movie theater for 48 hours?? So this is only if you wanna marathon a shit load of movies (at $50 a pop)?
What I want instead is to pay some amount and be able to watch any movie of my choosing, like classics and shit
>I missed the part where that's my fucking problem
Woah, wasn't this movie PG? How did they get away with this?

The autismbux hasn't been exhausted yet. If Spoonyfags ever reduce him down to something like 400 bucks a month she'll probably leave him.
Let's have a musicals thread.
I fell for the Hamilton meme.I'm so glad I did, this shit's actually amazing. My Shot is such a dope ass fight song.
>rap that's safe for upper-middle class white people
I don't understand understand the Hamilton hype at all. It reminds me of one of those cheesy educational videos that tries to appeal to kids by appropriating urban culture. It's cringey as fuck. Give me Les Mis or Sound of Music over this garbage any day.
>>66988184
I'll be honest, it did get kinda Schoolhouse Rock-ish at times (especially at that one bit in Aaron Burr, Sir where Lafayette comes in) but when it hit right it was fucking awesome.
In The Heights, Lin-Manuel Miranda's other musical, is pretty good from what I've heard of it. 96,000 and the opening are all I've really heard though.
>>66988326
I sort of appreciate In the Heights, especially since like Miranda and the characters of the musical I'm an east coast Puerto Rican, but I still prefer musicals that are closer to operettas. Give me people singing their guts out in a heavy vibrato over pop and rap any day
3x3 thread
These poor threads have been lasting shorter and shorter

Now that the dust has settled, can we agree that this movie was great and better than Return of the Jedi?
No.
No.
No
I just watched The Hobbit : Battle of the Five Armies extended blu ray and thought it was a 9.5/10 flick up from 6.5/10 original. Those 20 minutes extra added a lot.
Your thoughts...

hello peter
>>67226191
Look, you got any idea what a scout sniper is? You ever heard of that? No? Ok, well you're lookin' at one. My class in Quantico was class 307, and we had a motto. It was a saying, yeah? It was "One shot, one kill." The point is if I wanted you dead, you'd be dead.
I just can't watch Battle of the Five Armies again, so I will never know my thoughts about it OP
Predict the RT consensus.
I'm calling somewhere from the low 40s to mid 50s ballpark.

Why do people under 25 think saying a movie will flop agitates people?
Low 40's to mid 50's ballpark.
