It's one of my top 3 favourite movies, alongside The Nightmare Before Christmas and Uwe Bolls Rampage.
I love surfer culture, I love the music, I love the documentary/amaturish style, I love the stoner chicken, I love the tropical beaches, I love the humour, it's a fucking great movie and penguins are awesome.

I did like happy feet, but honestly, the only real connection it had was the penguins, and some slight documentary themes.

As shitty as the prequels were, particularly AOTC, Jake the Muss turning out to be Boba Fett was pretty fucking cool.
What was so awful about the fan service in TFA? I don't recall there being that much of it, and some of it was important to the plot (so not exactly fan service).

Some parts of it, yes. I was even kind of excited at the beginning.
But then I got that slowly sinking feeling in my gut when Poe fired off that shitty, inappropriate quip and the general feeling of disappointment lingered throughout the rest of the movie.

silicon valley, show me a hero, the jinx, boardwalk empire, and treme are all objectively better than leftovers.
GoT, Girls, the newsroom, are all better at doing what they set out to do than leftovers, even if what they set out do do is bait plebs.
Seriously the characterization of a drama about "muh characters" being outshown by a quirky comedy is pretty damn embarrassing. But mike judge with a lobotomy is a better writer and better judge of human behavior than lindelof could ever be.
