It was more about low class people clinging to false hope that is built on a lie. The movie gets a lot of scorn but I think it's quite a well-done portrayal of human garbage and the power of denial.

I'd respectfully disagree. I think it was aimed for both nostalgic fans, newcomers, men and females alike.
I think what everyone gets so mad about is that people often confuse it for a feminist film, which by todays standards, would be laughable, as the movement has strayed far from the definition.
But getting back on point, I reckon it had everything that interested everyone. Intense action, good actors, insane cinematography, over the top visuals, and overall one hell of a spectacle, and in the long run, it worked.

Personally, I always thought acting like you needed to hide from spoilers was obnoxious. I mean, being spoiled shouldn't ruin the enjoyment of the film, as what does that mean, that a film is only as good as long as you don't know what happens? Though usually, I'll respect someone's wishes not to be spoiled to be polite, provided it's not old material already.

I don't see the purpose of making a super secret plot because you're afraid it would be leaked, the greedy jews are just afraid that no one will watch their movie once they know what happens.
