That doesn't work that way. Deathtouch is combat damage only.

No, it isn't.
So a few years ago I started a story about a Knight who tried to save a princess, wound up saving a dragon, and got into a quest involving destroying an ancient artifact. Along the way there were dwarfs, maids, and other adventures. A few months ago I made my last update. Anyone interested in me continuing?

I am
>I'm just going to start where I left of again then.
Martina set me down at the edge of the woods and took off. It wasn't long before Faina emerged, despite the distance she had run she seemed fresh as morning dew.
"Well, well, well. Sir Knight. I should have expected you I suppose."
"Lieutenant Faina, I am going to give you -"
"Give me what? A kiss? A good lay? Please tell me it's something more interesting than 'one chance to surrender.'"
I ignored her taunt and got into position to fight her. She drew her blade as well and we set to fighting. I had already faced and beaten Faina once before at the Monasheskiy Library so I thought I knew what to expect from her in terms of a challenge, but I'm not sure whether it was the prior experience working in my favor, the time in prison doing her no favors, or if I was just better than before, but fighting her this time was easy. The greatest challenge I had was intercepting her when she tried to run off.
"You know," I said while blocking a wild attack of hers, "you never told me why you managed to survive so long in the Golden Saber."
"Do you ever shut up?"
"Sure, when I'm concentrating."
The only answer to that was a wordless scream of frustration so I continued, "I doubt that you're someone's wife. I've seen the way they treat their lovers and you don't have enough scars or bruises."
>>46421337
I had to duck a blow at my head before continuing to theorize, "Hmm. I remember you asking Boniface about that story with his father… so someone's daughter?"
Faina's attacks suggested that she was getting frustrated and gave me confidence that I was on the right track.
"So someone's daughter, someone powerful or else they wouldn't be able to protect you. Could it be that you're General Zinoviy's daughter?"
I could tell from the look on her face that I hit the mark . She sneered, "Well done Knight, you figured it out."
"Right, now if you surrender we can end this and -"
The sudden shadow blocking out all the moonlight was my only warning, I turned and only barely managed throw myself aside in time to avoid the talons of a massive bird. As I got back up I could see more of the massive beasts flying around. Lieutenant Faina climbed on to the back of the one that nearly disemboweled me and took off. In the sky I heard a voice call out to me, "Ah Sir Knight! It's been a while."
I threw myself to the side again to dodge the claws of another bird and saw on its back the Golden Saber Commander Kuzma. I barely had time to get to my feet before I had to dodge another bird.
"Martina," I telepathically singled, "There's another group of birds up here. Some of them have Golden Saber riders. I can't deal with them alone, I'm falling back into the woods for cover. Come when you can."
"I'm finishing off the last of these birds now. They have no riders, it must have been a diversion. I'm on my way back now. Be careful."
I had to dodge and run all the way to the treeline, but I made it there intact.

“You’ve got some new ones, here.” Akira remarks, playing with a French doll replica of Air-Razor from Beast Wars.
“I-is… that weird?”
“Nah. My bedroom’s full of dolls, too.”
“Really? I didn’t think of you as the doll type.”
“Yeah, well, it’s a… ‘different’ kind of doll that I’m into…” She grins and hops to her feet. “So, now that you’re up, wanna come hang with Lils and me?”

Due to the nature of where we left off last time this session will be a direct continuation and because of that we have an important decision ahead of ourselves concerning which 'group' we'll focus on immediately. Everyone will get their chance; this is just giving -you- the reader the chance to vote for which path we should take first.

>Deal with Death, decide the fate of Emily Koschei's persona and discover the secret of death.
>Acknowledge The Technician's shade and become self aware of the "META".
You guys can go ahead and start voting immediately. We'll begin shortly. I'm gonna say first choice to three, again; don't worry about your option not being picked- we're just voting on what we do 'first'.

How are necromancer's not broken in fantasy lore and why aren't there more of them? You'd think the ability for one guy with the ability to raise armies that challenge those of entire empires would be pretty enticing. Why doesn't every Joe-schmoe go out trying to be a necromancer?
It's hard to become one. Farming turnips is easier
>>46419530
Usually, plot reasons. Necromancy drives one mad, necromancy is powered by pure evil, necromancy has been outlawed by the powers that be for so long that you need to find hermits in buttfuck nowhere forests to even learn where to find the other hermits who will teach you where to find the actual necromancers. Shit like that.
It also takes effort to get that many dead bodies to practice on.
Even in the real world, the world would be a much better place if everyone donated their body either to science or organ donation, and yet there are STILL loads of idiots who refuse.
Greetings Agents,
As of two hours ago we started recieving intermittent data from the GPS locator belonging to a VIP "Hedgehog" and have, as per standing Solstar Company procedure, begun preperations for an emergency evacuation. Hedgehog is a platinum level customer and so it's rather important we get them out safely.
Intel suggest "Hedgehogs"'s captors to be to an extremist faction trying to disrupt the local peace talks. They're likely well motivated but poorly armed. Their intentions appear to be political in nature, blackmail or terror. They call themselves White Moon. You need to be fast and neutralize the enemy forces before they can finalize their plans.
Your mission - should you choose to accept it - is to extract VIP Hedgehog from the slum he is being held in. Initial resistance is low, but if they become aware of our presence expect them to deploy additional personnel rapidly.
Initial scans are attached - another satelittle will move into range in 30 minutes and provided updated information. As this is a rapid response mssion, our full armory is not available on site. Most other assets are occupied in other sectors, so we're relying on you Agent.
Good luck.

A Tempestus Scion (Storm Trooper for those still butthurt about the name retcon) from Warhammer and a Clone ARC Trooper are deposited in a completely abandoned Times Square in New York City and told to fight to the death by their CO's. Who wins?
>>46418937
ARC Trooper.
Better Physical abilities, can heal wounds completely thanks to Bacta Implants, better armor, better weapons, better gear, better training, and smarter.
No contest really.
>>46419211
Slow down there, buddy.
>Better Physical abilities
That's debatable. While they're not purpose-built clones like ARC troopers are, Scions are still elite soldiers raised from birth to be elite soldiers.
>can heal wounds completely thanks to Bacta Implants
Don't know about this one, my lore on ARC's is rusty.
>better armor, better weapons, better gear
They both wear Carapace Armor, and in-universe have displayed a roughly equal level of protective power.
From a damage standpoint, Blasters are neck-and-neck if not slightly above power of Hot-Shot Lasguns. Hot-Shots are ultra-powered laser weapons that can cut through even power armor with ease, while Blasters fire ionized bolts of Tibanna gas (making them essentially low-level plasma guns). Blaster Rifles are, however, much more easy to maintain and to reload in the field (though HSLG's have a much greater amount of shots before reload).
Gear-wise, they both have roughly equivalent gear for their respective jobs. If anything, Scions are slightly better here, as they can be given teleport homers in rare circumstances (which ARC's don't have IIRC).
>better training,
Debatable, given the nature of how both are raised. At the end of the day, a child who is purpose-built to be a soldier for as long as he can remember is going to be a beyond exceptional soldier, and past a point any difference becomes academic rather than practical. It is worth noting that Scions are not programmed to be obedient in the same way Clones are - while Clones are obedient, they are unaware of the nature of their programming. Scions also have a degree of mental programming, but are 100% true believers in the Imperium and the Imperial Faith. Faith is an element ARC lacks, and never underestimate the power of faith.
>smarter.
That's, again, debatable. Scions regularly go up and emerge victorious when engaging impossible odds and ridiculously powerful foes like Chaos Marines, Tyranids, Necrons. ARC just fight droids.
>>46420315
>Scions given teleport homers
Wait, what?

It's a rerelease of an old game, surprisingly cheap, mainly because they didnt do any unique miniatures for it, using old sprues, which i am cool with.

Moraz III – a deadly jungle world filled with danger and fear, populated by ferocious aliens who wait in the undergrowth to pounce on the unwary and mercilessly kill anyone who stumbles across them. Even the plant life itself is malignant here, constantly twisting and growing in unnatural ways to trap its prey.
A dropship containing vitally important surveillance files has crash landed on this hostile planet. It’s up to you and your squad of Space Marine Scouts to retrieve these files, activate the dropship, and hopefully escape with your lives.
A fun and compelling two-player challenge, Lost Patrol is a boxed game set on a hostile jungle world full of sinister hidden danger! Players assume the roles of a Space Marines Scout squad and a fierce swarm of cunning Genestealers eager to end their lives. The Genestealers of Moraz III have every advantage on their home turf and will make every attempt to quickly despatch the human intruders.
The Scouts will almost certainly all die. But how far can you get? Will you ever see the drop pod tile? And each game becomes a challenge to try and get further – and because you can turn games around in 10 minutes when you get into it, you can play loads of it, and swap sides and make it a competition with your mate.
Inside the box, you’ll find five Space Marine Scouts, twelve Genestealers, six Infestations (the markers of imminent Genestealer appearance),thirty hex tiles and the full rules for play.

Oh, that's cool. I guess they're gonna redo all the old board games cause of copyright concerns or something like that now, eh?

Lost Patrol, a nod to Tyranid Attack.
>>46416309
>I guess they're gonna redo all the old board games cause of copyright concerns or something like that now, eh?
Empty.
That's how you feel.
Up until now you thought the word hollow was just a name, but right now it's appropriate.
You thought getting back your memories would bring some clarity to your situation, if only you knew.
It's still quite dark, the dawn still seems far away. In it's current look the forest looks pitch black and devoid of all life.
You awoke just now and the only two things you can hear is your own pulse and heavy gasping for air as you hold your chest.
For the first time you are aware of the hole in your chest. It doesn't hurt but you can definitely feel that something is missing.
After your breathing returns to normal you quiet down a little and as you are sitting and looking out of your head the only sound you can hear is your own pulse. It feels someone is beating two very large drums next to your head simultaneously.
Eventually you stand up, sitting in one place is becoming unbearable.
You waver from one tree to the next, using each one to support yourself as your body feels like it's made of iron.
You can't even see where you are going, everything is just a blur.
There is a clearing after the end of the forest and you decide to sit down at one of the treestumps.
Most of the forest has been destroyed as a result of the germans cutting down most of them needing the raw resources and in order to increase their field of vision in case of an enemy attack.
And you keep staring down at the remnants of the former forest in your solitude.
You sit there for God knows how long. Dawn still seems to be very far away.
You drift from one thought to the next seamlessly, all the while you don't move an inch.
As the rising sun begins to illuminate the ebon sky you can hear the sound of machinegun fire far above your head.
An aerial firefight apparently broke out while you weren't watching.
You can hear the distant explosions, but their sound is almost nonexistent, you aren't paying attention to it.
The fact that the brave members of the Luftwaffe are dying left and right doesn't even bother you right now.
One of the planes crash right next to you. Even though your eardrums basically exploded and now ringing, you don't even flinch as the Soviet aircraft, judging by its markings, crashes roughly 10 meters away from you.
Amidst all this chaos another soul awoke from a deep slumber.
His sleep was disturbed by the sound of distant explosions.
As he made a loud awakening he quickly rushes to the edge of the forest, seeking confirmation for his question of "What the hell is making this noise".
As he reaches the clearing he finally saw the reason for all the noise.
An aerial fight apparently broke out between the german and soviet forces.
Probably the latter was planning on bombing the place once more, just like on the fourth of May in 1943.
This was nothing to get worked up about, the matters of the living rarely interest the dead.
However, something does get his attention.
A hollow can be seen sitting on a treestump. A hollow he knows very well.
This hollow has mutilated and shamed him several times now, once at a train station, once on the train itself and once out in the woods.
All of them made him feel weak and helpless, this hollow has bested him in combat and added insult to injury by publicly mutilating him and by killing his subordinates as well.
But this time it's different.
The hollow that gave him so many nightmare filled nights and destroyed his reputation time and time again is just sitting in front of him, his eyes are as vacant as that of the average shinigami stationed here.
"What is this? WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!"
He shouts angrily at his enemy.
"HEY, BASTARD! ANSWER ME! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU?!"
He grabs him by the throat and lifts him up in the air.
The hollow that destroyed him so many times now is not even resisting him, hell he doesn't even move an inch as he is grabbed by the neck.
"I remember."
That rang in the hollows head.
These two words were uttered by so many hollows he knew and most of them looked exactly like he did.
All died within hours.
Ignorance is truly a bliss, especially for hollows.
For when a hollow remembers their death and hollowfication the trauma they suffer destroys them mentally.
Hollowfication is, in most cases a very gruesome matter.
*NO! NOT LIKE THIS!*
The thoughts stuck with him.
If the one who could so easily humiliate and destroy him can't be done like this.
If he died like a dog then it would shame him even further.
He'll never become the leader of a pack again, he'll never...
And then it happened.
The sound of the punch made all other noise seemingly silent.
The blow was powerful enough to destroy a part of the axolotl hollows mask and hit his actual face.
The amphibian rolls backwards for a good couple of meters.
"IF YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE UP LIKE THAT THEN JUST ASK ME TO KILL YOU!
WHAT?! IS THAT IT?! YOU ARE GOING TO DIE LIKE THAT?!
IF YOU GAVE UP THEN AT LEAST HAVE THE DECENCY OF DYING IN BATTLE YOU COWARD!"
He shouted at his nemesis his voice almost quivering.
Kaizar stood up while covering the part of his mask that had a hole in it.
His face hurt, a lot. But all sensation finally started to return to him once more.
Under the rising sun the world slowly filled with colors and the noise of the battle above could be hear again.
He walked to the horse mask hollow who assumed a fighting stance.
But instead of an attack he placed his other hand on his shoulder, this action was followed by two words.
"Thank you."
With that Kaizar used sonido to get away from him.
This hollow brought him to his senses, now he owes him one.
But now he has to decide on what to do.
>Go back to Pesci.
>Go to the boy.

Also 4 sets of plate armor in Death House.
I've always liked European style "heavy armor". In the context of 5e, if you have heavy armor proficiency and plan to wear heavy armor, there's no good reason to wear anything other than plate except for its cost.
I've always liked the way ring mail looks, though.
