I'm less and less of a MO fan every day. I realize how powerful it is to just click for 2 instead of 1, or using it for a power turn to take 8. But I learned that just TriMaf+Kati or SecTesting is enough. Plus, SecTest with desperado is already pretty good, I'd leave MO for glaciers.

Like, it's mostly Iomedae and Desna that closed the Worldwound, it was mostly Milani and Asmodeus that helped out in Cheliax, and Erastil was primarily the bro that guided your hand throughout Kingmaker.

What is the worst setting you've ever played in and why?
When I was a teenager a guy I knew ran a completely pointless and plotless D&D game where we were in a giant extradimensional mansion full of rooms, and basically ran the game like a video game, complete with save points. It was literally "advance to the next room, kill the monsters, acquire healing potion because DM knows our HP is low, repeat" until we got bored and all quit at the same time.

I did a similar thing when i was a teenager, where me and some mates tried to play DnD when we were all incredibly stoned. Our DM was a retard and we went in there with no objective, no clear setting, no character sheets, and ended up giving up about 3 enemies in because we were just improvising a homebrew as we went along, all the while this DM telling us that he knew the rules because he 'used to play it all the time when he was a kid.'

My old GM's custom setting, which was basically a combination of all of the worst parts of dragonlance, forgotten realms, and generic fantasy tropes mashed into a horrible mishmash with no real continuity.
One particularly infuriating bit I remember is when we were traipsing about through the underdark, and found a port. Like, that opened up onto the ocean. An underground port that opened up at sea level.
More specifically, chinese or thereabouts weapons.

The Chinese had large heavy iron smoking pipes that doubled as blackjacks forgot what they were called but download the the AD&D oriental adventures book, they have a super concise weapons sections with names and descriptions (and stats ofc)

Cao and Sanra both stand before Kotal Kahn, who sits upon his throne. To the Emperor's left is Erron Black, and to his right is Ruby. Other nobles and enforcers gather along the sides of the room, listening in. The news of D'Vorah kidnapping Hua has taken the palace by storm.
"I am preparing a party to search for D'Vorah," Kotal Kahn tells the siblings. "Thus far, none of my scouts nor guards along the wall have reported which direction she fled in. As soon as information becomes available, I will send out my force to apprehend her and rescue your sister."
"That's not good enough," Cao says, boldly speaking to the Emperor. "I want her dead."
"We," Sanra corrects him, looking at her brother.
"If she refuses to comply, then my men shall be forced to dispose of her," Kotal assures them both. "D'Vorah knows much of my empire's inner-workings. If she were to betray me---"
"And what do you call this, if not betrayal?" Cao interrupts him.
"Don't interrupt the Emperor again, boy," Erron Black warns him, his eyes narrow under his hat. "And just where were you when D'Vorah arrived, anyway?"
Kotal raises his hand and dismisses Erron's words. "He has a right to be upset. His sister is being held captive." The osh-tekk looks back at them. "She is your sister. What would you have me do?"

Jumping spiders are among the most aggressive hunters of any spider sub-species. If they were scaled up RPG style monsters, they'd be fucking TERRIFYING!
You would never see them coming. Able to leap hundreds of feet, moving at falcon-like speeds. You'd be dead from the impact before they even sank their fangs in.

Yeah, but it's usually not jumping spiders that are the monsters. Typically they're more things like tarantulas or huntsman spiders.
