All shitposting aside, how do you do an anime-themed quest without it being TOO anime?
Like, thanks to 4chan, I'm afraid of mentioning 'katana' and 'fedora', ever, because they're both massive in-jokes despite being completely reasonable words. If you're going for something seinin manga-ish, how do you make things more respectable/serious?

I'm trying to make some bases for some deathwatch terminators and I want it to look like deck plating. I'm using this stuff for the plating itself and I'm going to put some brass rod as piping and some grating to break up the space left over. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what to use for deck plating bases?
I wish I could find cheap terrain. I was thinking about scratch building some but where I play has so much and there are already people who bring their own scenery for their army.
