That one sounds like it's on the GM rather than the players.

Holy shit I'm not the only one, this shit is infuriating.
You also forgot,
>They're always eating rations
>When they're not eating rations, they're wearing a ring that keeps them full and hydrated
>Speaking of hydrated, it's always ale all the time
Holy shit dude, you're a person not a robot, stop acting like you can live off dried meat and berries for weeks on end in the middle of the forest, only to immediately return to civilization and spend all your time reading a book, forging a sword or drinking beer.

I've started giving disadvantage on social rolls if they don't have a solid rest after a long trip for shit like bathing and mending clothes.
I've also told players to consider getting medium armor under robes if they really wanted to stay armored all the time.

Tactical Droid or Super Tactical Droids?
>>46925337
Neither.
So, I'm trying to build a Tog Gun/X-wing Books style Age of Rebellion game. But since I've only played non-space combat focused games, how do the Rebel's fighters stand up under FFG rules? Are there known resources for collective analysis of the ships in the FFG space combat system?
>>46925384
OP folder has a variety of starship combat homebrew.
>>46925384
Yeah, so, FFG is definitely written with the scene where TIEs attack the Falcon rather than, say, the Battle of Yavin in mind. Single or even double-seater fighters can easily get vaped in a single shot, and there's not much to do about that on the target end like usual in FFG, except there's no dodge or sidestep for fighters.
Easiest way is to give PC and major NPC pilots wingmen using AoR's squadron rules as bullet shields, or to use homebrew options to make certain check types contested, at least for small ships.

Tolkien started his worldbuilding from languages. Is it the thing that makes his legendarium so special? Also general Tolkien thread.
>>46986865
It's special because he's very well known and did it before it was cool.
>>46986894
>he's very well known
Well his popularity must come from somewhere
>>46986865
I think what makes his so special is the fact that he basically engineered it from the ground up to replicate how legends and mythology form and grow. He didn't set out to create a fictional backstory for his stories, he set out to explore the very idea of mythology, and the stories that we now know as Lord of the Rings and Silmarillion naturally grew out of that.
To his imitators, worldbuilding is a means to an end so that they have a setting in which to tell stories. To Tolkien, the world and what it represented was the whole point

The Occidental Axis - Us(The White Republic), The Kaichou Empire and the Sunset Alliance - conquered the empire of the Pacharnati in Eyerdar, splitting up the territory. Only two other nations remain - the democratic and rapidly growing New Pajit Union and the Barniju Spice Kingdom - the two states declared the establishment of a defensive pact.
In Eyerdar our rangers were exploring the Eye of Sand and discovered the Sixth Spire - what we found there was evidence that the Organisation has resumed its operations and has infiltrated the governments of all five independent nations at various levels. Suspicious even of our allies, we've expanded our military and introduced many new and powerful weapons, products of our Industrial Revolution.
As the White Republic greets the 1100th year after the Exile, we stand as the mightiest nation on our planet, but the future is uncertain.

You are Tsukuda Ryouta, the 12th Division's investigator of abnormal occurrences. Currently, you are on break for an indeterminate period of time. This is not due to any trouble during your latest assignment. It's just that your job has a very specific purpose hidden underneath its vague meaning - seeking out the Hogyoku.
Your latest mission was brief and didn't bring you any closer to your true goal, though it was nevertheless extremely exhausting. But even if you were to be at your best, there would still be little to do until the signs of the orb's presence are detected. Until that happens, work is either entirely absent or very mundane. Recently, you've been spending your days practicing your Kido with an old friend back from your Academy days, Minami Hikari. As an Academy instructor, this favor she's making you won't last for long; when you last spoke about it with her almost two weeks ago, you agreed on a month, until her less-capable student returns from an assignment in the Human World. That means you have two more weeks left.
Coincidentally, that will also be the time when Tsukuda Miyu, your white haired, golden eyed little sister, enters the Shin'o Academy to begin her training.
Now, about that... You haven't spoken about any of it with Urahara Kisuke. Is such a thing even necessary?

I would like opinions on a subject that is rarely directly discussed.
Sci-fi helmets and robot heads.
They come in a billion trillion variations, and I personally am constantly flip-flopping on what sort I like.
Whats your opinion on the topic? Any sort you hate? I never got the pyramid head meme, I like a good faceless angular helmet but some of them just have silly angles, you could shank someone with some of them.

I feel like this is definitely a series that could be a good series to watch, (especially if they fix books 8-10 to happen simultaneously)
However, it's also possible to fuck it up so hard I'm not sure how to feel.

DO Post any art requests you have ITT. Keep in mind, the drawfriends are doing this for free, so do not be surprised or upset if they gloss over your post. Just be patient, and bump your request ONE time, every 24 hours after posting it.
DON'T be a jerk and immediately repost your request because you don't like the FREE art you received.
DO provide good, detailed references (pictures are better than verbal descriptions), so the artists know what you're looking for as best you can.
If you've recently had a request filled by a drawfriend, please be considerate of less fortunate anons and hold off on additional requests for a while.
Mind your manners, don't be rude to other people's requests, and remember to say thank you! And please, please, lurk before posting your request. It will save everyone some uncomfortable moments.

I'm in a game of Age of Rebellion, but we're playing it from the other side. IE, we're playing Imps.
So I'm playing a TIE Fighter pilot and I was hoping if someone would be up to fulfilling this request.
What we have is a cocky twenty something corellian. He should be wearing the standard TIE Fighter Flight Suit (the image includes the closest I could find) minus the life support rig.
He has facial scarring (also in the picture!) that should pass through his left eye and leave it milky and blind.
Finally, he keeps his hair in a jelly roll style (also included) with the sides and back shaved down to skin.
He's basically a weird greaser japanese style high school delinquents, just... you know. As a TIE Fighter Pilot. Smokes black cigarettes and disregards just about anything and everything that's rules related outside of combat.
Anyway, I've included a file to show what the various parts are supposed to look like.
From last thread, on the off-chance that the drawfriend working on it was able to find the time to finish it up:
Requesting my female Death Knight (reflavored Oathbreaker) from an evil campaign that we're running. She wears form-fitting darkened steel plate-mail, the torso engraved with silver skeletal designs, while the pauldrons, arms and legs are fashioned after dragons (i.e. wings and whatnot). Her skin is really pale and her hair is platinum blond, hair styled so that most of it falls straight down her back, with two braids going from her temple around the back of her head into a coiled braid at the nape of her neck, with a hair pin holding it in place. She wears a tiara of black iron nails, and wields a black iron greatsword. Her mount is an undead Horse (the DM was very reasonable about allowing me to revamp Find Steed to include "undead" for her)
>>46922015
From last thread, found references for anon.
She's wearing dark, floating dresses and veils, over and under light pieces of armor. Nothing really voluminous, wide or long like a true dress, aside from a cape. She's a magic user pretending to be a swordswoman pretty much.
