Shinobi Quest #22
This quest takes place within the lands of the Five Great Shinobi Nations (aka Narutoverse) starting roughly around the beginning of the original series. The world of this quest remains similar to the original, with slight but notable differences in certain areas, based upon the passage of time from a single slightly altered event.
(It’s a goddamn Naruto Quest, you bastards. Have fun, participate, and write in when you feel inclined. Most of the outcomes of this quest will be determined by you, the players. Critiques and questions are always welcome, as my knowledge of the weeby shit is not all encompassing.)

Last thread, Tsuki Norihime met her interim instructor and underwent some extensive training. Her sensei should be returning soon, and both her teammates and herself are waiting….
Two months. For two months, you and your teammates had worked hard, doing your best to improve yourselves- the chunin exams were imminent. In a little over a month, it would be time to begin the examinations. You had seen little of your potential competition from Konoha- many of them had been out on some mission or another- and while your team and been upkeeping their fair share of D-ranked missions in Itachi-sensei’s absence, you know many of your fellow Genin teams had progressed to undertaking regular C-ranked missions. While you HAD undertaken a single joint mission with...

Sorry, it's really hard to take a good picture.
Here's a better pic of my nob
made a start on Zoraida for my malifaux stuff. skin on the face isn't quite done yet but should give a rough idea of the shade i'm going for.
I'm not really sure how i'll be painting the rest of the model yet, just sort of making it up as I go along.

Post any art requests you have ITT. Keep in mind, the drawfriends are doing this for fun, so do not be surprised or upset if they gloss over your post. The artists are here to draw what they WANT to draw, not what you THINK should be drawn.
Be patient, and bump your request one time every 24 hours from the time you posted the request. There is no exception to this rule, it doesn't matter if you "have work" or "are going to bed".

I'd like to request a close up picture kind of like the third pic, a skeleton necromancer/wizard in a hooded cloak but with a green animus in the eyes (the skull itself is not on fire though) like in the miniature or like the lich to the left, replacing the lightning in hand with green flame.
This might be getting too complicated but some green runic accents on the edges of the hood/on the robes would really complete the picture.
I would like to request a Silver Dragon from /tg/'s Periodic Table setting. I just think that they're really neat and they need some art.
In particular I'd like it if this dragon was one of the loners/fighters, covered in black tarnish with some silver around the edges. Maybe with a large horn - either at the edge of the snout or unicorn-style.
What Is your Favorite fantasy setting /tg/?

Can I get a warrior or arquebus-style handgunner but chicken styled?
I'm a poultry science major.
In fact any sort of chicken-person or fantasy person wearing a chicken suit would be awesome.

Since I should have gone to ben an hour ago, I'll just post a few of the better ones.
Post things you've come up with but should never come to the table. My magical realm is letting my dick do half the world building by just rambling about various ideas and inspirations, and it usually comes out fairly interesting
>Goblins are a vermin race, barely more intelligent than dogs
>The problems in explaining what goblins are, arise because they have so many names
>Goblins as they're typically known, are at ages of 1 to 3, and are little rapey bastards
>Once they've grown beyond that, people think they're then "hob"goblins
>To further complicate things, demons and wizards like enchanting them, making them Imps
>It is important to note that they aren't related to orcs, they just like orc camps
>So now we can get to the confusion about how they reproduce
>goblins, hobgoblins, and imps can all reproduce, since they are the same species
>But, given that they're stupid, and humanoid, they have a problem with humans
>Human males of course look something like hobgoblins, aka competitors and something worth killing
>Human females look like ugly goblin females, from their perspective
>However, they lack the utterly repugnant smell goblins let off constantly to warn each other away
>To their feeble minds, that means it's game on, all you can get
>This generally doesn't happen to women of the adventuring sort
>They won't admit it, but anyone worth their gold has lived in that armor for long enough
>If however, you find yourself having to console a farmer's wife, at least remember this
>It's kobolds that lay eggs in their victims, goblins only take your dignity
>Half Dragon Dwarves slave caste in a Dwarven kingdom.
>The Pretty Ones are vajazzled concubines.
>The rest are, slaves, hard labour, warriors, miners. It's a golden age for the dwarves, even though they are constantly at war.
>They manage this because they take advantage of how a dragon can breed with anything.
>Many have Kolbold, or even baser beasts in their bloodline.
>There...

My magical realm is incredibly tame. The most magical realm my setting could get is one where women are about as overrepresented among knightly orders and the military in general as men are in our IRL military, and where princes in peril have almost entirely replaced damsels in distress. A powerful ladyknight princess carrying a young nobleman to safety is the rule rather than the exception.
Of course women also court men with poetry, song and elaborate rituals and formalities.

I saw some people was talking about matildas in EW, well that's funny because i just made a list with matildas for EW

Man, infantry would love to run into that list.
Minimal smoke, low numbers... If you're deliberately out to fight an all-tank force, sure it'll work, but a balanced force will tear it to shreds.
Hell, a Tank force out of Barbarossa will probably give it a good pounding too.
Keeping it alive for based anon.
What if the threat wasn't spooky shit, but the situation itself. How many days could you make it with limited supplies in an abandoned cylinder of concrete sticking out of the endless horizon spanning blue?
Bump
I was always a big fan of the "Endless Night / Dark Spirit World" scenario from the first thread:
>The moon is swallowed up, all the stars wink out of the sky, one by one, and the sun never rises.
>The lighthouse's lights become the only ones left in the hungry darkness.
>It's the 14th night in a row
>Nothing but endless blackness exists outside the lighthouse beam

>Joseph took too much food and water with him when he stole the boat and motored off alone into the darkness.
>Margo and Cutter went to try and scrounge up more supplies in the old fishing town on the south side of the island.
>No one's lived there since fishing the shoals around the island went sour sometime around thirty years ago.
>Folk couldn't afford to keep living on he island,...

Preemptive threadly reminder that Snares wins games
No-one's interested?
Last self-bump - this looks pretty great, even if it is a bit expensive, it's basically a Liberated Account that rewards you for running, which is what should be doing as a criminal anyway
So I'm running a game of Dark Heresy, and I decided I wanted to have the Dark Eldar as antagonists for a campaign.
This means I have to have them show up for something more than just a singular raid, and now I'm stumped. Help?
>>48220826
I had a vague idea of them, at least temporarily, taking over an Imperial Planet, but I have no idea what circumstances would required for something like that to happen.
>>48220856
More slaves for the taking.
>>48220826
Lead up to it. Saboteurs, collaborators, ect. Ancient literature describing raids in the past, like this is a season reaping or harvest.
For multiple raids, make it either so they survive and escape before being hunted down, or the Inquisitor knows where the next raid will be so he sends them in.
Piss them off enough and the acolytes get a target on their heads.
So I'm playing a flail snail in a Pathfinder game and I'm wondering: Have you ever played a non-verbal character? Was it fun? What made it work?
The closest I've ever come is playing a Witch in Pathfinder who never spoke due to trauma and an abusive childhood, and instead her familiar did all her speaking for her.The familiar itself was just a subconscious manifestation of her thoughts and feelings though, so I'm not sure if it counts.
>>48220428
>never spoke due to trauma and an abusive childhood, and instead her familiar did all her speaking for her.
That's still verbal, dumbass.
Subconcious, eh? A familiar like that could sometimes be at odds with what she'd prefer to say or reveal. Which is cool, if I'm understanding you right.
Your campaign now features cutaway gags

GM: So you want to play a white male human fighter?
That's almost as insane as when Elminster was asked to raise the girl he was going to spend the next couple centuries having sex with by her mother.
Is there a worse feeling in the world?
>>48216736
Math doesn't add up, that should be 111
It could be worse, you could be playing the Fellowship rpg.
>>48216782
>8+3 doesn't equal 11
